This made me realized how much emotional and physical trauma the Lyoko warriors went through. They literally battle a program that was able to control literally everything and always tried to kill them every time. Hell in Lyoko they FELT some things when they were on there example using when xana william slashed Ulrich in half. When the scanner opened Ulrich clutched his stomach. Also for people saying the return to the past revived the dead that’s false. Ulrich stated that any fatalities before the return to the past stay dead.
@lop16522 жыл бұрын
That part was alway strange for me. If they returned to the past, as they call it, why would they be dead? Do they actually return to the past or is the supercomputer just brainwashing everyone on Earth, ro believe it's the day before? Also, when did they have the chance to test that theory?
@Vernas_R2 жыл бұрын
I get the feeling the dead could come back (haven't finished the show though so if there's an example, my bad). The reason being is that due to some of what Xana do would cause the disappearance of over 100 people quite easily, especially when it went for the entire town instead of the team.
@colinmckoy44452 жыл бұрын
@@lop1652 it was because the show needed some weight. They didn't want the Return to the Past trip to be a be all end all solution to everything. Some trivia, if you think this might be an over-exaggeration. Or if you just don't recall! Aelita's earth body required the Supercomputer, since for the early half of that plotline she wasn't completely disconnected and could suffer anything Lyoko did while on earth. Turning off the computer killed her, they even talk about her pulse fading and barely getting it back. There was no promise that just turning it on was a revive, she was putting it on the line for a chance to save her friends. Odd subjected himself to a homebrew of that black-mass 'Spectre' so he could get powers and fight another possessed person. It almost stopped his heart when the program began to fail. Return to the Past sounds like a really fun way to undo any damage to the world after an attack. But if you happen to die during the span of time that gets reversed, your body is already dead on arrival in the new timeline. So getting killed by XANA was a permanent deal, and Jeremie reminded the characters about it during an attack, as if they already knew from experience. This show was one camera angle from a porno. And an early scene got censored on reruns, because it was actually CONSIDERED such.

@@zwordsman I want the books to be adapted into either a movie or new seasons. What about you ?
@zwordsman9 ай бұрын
I'd like them to take aspects of the books. but on the whole I'd want them to do something a little different overall. I think it shows that hte oriignal writers weren't involved with the book in small details. I do really like that they come off more young adult maturity than the the younger tone of the show (horrorific almost deaths not withstanding) Though as they weren't finished (i think) they ight've gone in a way I liked more. I personally didn't like that Xana came back. And I"m less fond of the idea of it ossessing a random to go kill them. vs it creating its own form (perhaps using hopper as a child as a form) that was stable enough to appear as human. but i really liked the thematics in the end seasons of materializng things in the real world. I think I'd like a time jump to college, and they're looking for info on Aelita's mom. I'd love if they went more into the real world materialization thematics. I'd rather have had Xana leave behind a kernal in the internet that slowly built up. Not to take over the world but as a doomsday kill switch thematic. Where it starts to materialize monsters in the world in general rather than trying to take over it. Which would help lead to more general awareness and eventually Aelita's mom (for good or bad). Ideally Xana, knowing about Franza and Aelita had already found the mother. Franz knew-but he chose to save Aelita over Xana's knowledge. i prefer the smaller stories in terms of dynamics.so the killswitch is attacking the world at large, but they're mostly involved in the smaller story trying to get Aelita's mother. Which would lead to code (mothers name) which was something Franz ultimately left behind when he was dying with Xana for his hope for Aelita and his Wife. @@JabamiLain
