Code of wages, 2019 act has been enacted, which repealed the mentioned 4 acts. Do I still need to study Payment of wages act, 1936 , Minimum wages act, 1948, Payment of bonus act, 1965 and Equal remuneration act, 1976 for, UGC Net code 55?

Yes it will be applicable because it covers both organised and unorganized sector

21 K for applicability and 7 k or Minimum wages ,which ever is higher for calculation

Sir In the present Act the word principal employer has not been used....They have used proprietor...in Responsibility for payment of dues..Can u tell why

The pension scheme should be enlightened in view of the qualifications & the period of service carried out by the employee concerned. The employer must be made responsible for the negligence not the employee.
