hi, I have my car at dealership for warranty claim but they are refusing to replace engine claiming the noise is because of piston wear and not due to bearing knock , they use some type of tool to test it without opening engine and when I ask them that sound just started to come as soon as I get P1326 and there was no oil leak/burning before that then how it can be related to piston, they cant explain that and say that we can see that cylinder walls are scraped , its a kia soul with engines under extended warranty due to rod bearing wear, don't know what to do next

Moore than likely you'll need a new engine. Excessive rod bearing clearance.

My car is throwing this code, P1326, as well as P0014 and P0011. It's showing some of the same symptoms like when I push the pedal to the floor and won't go past 2000 rpm's. Should I just replace the knock sensor or something else?

Try replacing the knock sensor. That won't fix the other codes tho.

It fixed this particular car. If the customer is willing to pay... I prefer to always diagnose it before replacing parts. That way I can determine if it actually needs to be replaced or not.

If the knock sensor doesn't work, your problem is most likely excessive connecting rod bearing wear.

We watched this video then he figured he would take a look from underneath the car to see if there was access that way and had it off very fast. We’re going to pick up a new one and hope it goes on just as quick. My code says P1326 which I’m hoping is a result of the knock sensor and not the bearing rod.

I went to the dealer. After 2 WEEKS! They came to me to a conclusion! They (kia dealership) told me :Go buy a scanner, and erase the code everytime the check engine pops! That's the dumbest answer I ever Heard frome a pro-ish. Since the day they updated idk what they did but I had like 10 sensors to change. (kia soul 2014)
