After some testing, this EXACT build is perfect for Lord of Thunder. Simply replace Lightning with Ice. Lord of Thunder was the only one to go down in 1 hit. Frozen Empress and Hellfire Knight took a few swings after the initial hit. But Lord of Thunder? Decimated. 11/10, thank you for helping me unlock the most broken attack in the game. (Even with the nerfed Final Journey) Edit: Was level 176 when this was done.

Even easier with iceblood spamming the ice spikes he gets stunlocked and melted under 30 seconds no need for all the one shot preparation and risk

You have to hit Hellfire Knight in the head to oneshot him. He has less defense there, and although the max damage that can be displayed is 99k, you can actually do over that if you hit his weakspot. It'll still show as 99k, only he'll die instead of surviving on like 5% HP.

There is an even better build that can completely one shot this boss. Pretty much everything is this same except you’re using Greatswords/Hammers and using Steadfast Strike that you find in the Pollux blood code (So this build would require the Frozen Empress DLC). With the Argent Wolf King GS you’ll one shot the boss completely. Absolutely mad.

You are correct about it working. Not sure how much as i haven't fully tested it. However! I did test it against the Queen's Knight Reborn in the depths, and it easily decimated them. The damage seems comparable, though it would likely come down to Steadfast Strike vs Severing Abyss for damage multiplier. As it is the Gifts doing all this, and not the weapons per say. Long story short: Yes, this also one-shots bosses.

Agreed completely. I'm doing the Pipe of Thralldom challenge for all three of them and this guy is the actual easiest with no competition compared to the other two. The lightning guy is the worst with all the randomness of his attacks.

Yeah he was intimidating at first but then I spent a few hours fighting and realized just how exploitable his attack patterns are to the point that with enough patience and proper positioning you can easily do this without getting hit. You just have to make sure you can dodge his stupid power up move or whatever it is the massive aoe that surrounds him THAT I SWEAR HE ACTIVATES RANDOMLY OUT OF SPITE! ... Oh and that fast dive attack that seems to come just as randomly. Other than those 2 attacks he's so easy to dodge after you study him for a few.

The funniest thing in the world is every freaking build uses final journey then it got nerfed into the dirt. I mean you can still use it yes but its only good for one shot builds.

Ok so I'm level 296, I used all the skills you stated except switched halberd with one handed sword. Maxed out weapon and veil, with the transformations you used and used the attack...and no dice.

One handed swords have roughly 40% less attack than the obliterator axe halberd

So im about level 151 rn and I did everything you did minus two passive skills, but I used all the active skills on the boss in Misty Ruins and I only did 3K? In training I did around 25K with a one handed sword... Is it my level or does it work differently in the depths (NVM I didn't wait for the health to fully show up)

If you move too quick while the boss is standing up and doing his little roar he will not take full damage but instead a tiny amount.

Severing abyss has a slightly wonky hit box. Try to stand at where his head comes down instead of running close to his chest

I think I might have accidentally sold my obliterator as I can't find it anywhere.... I tried it with Argennt wolf axe and that merely peaked at 77k :S

@@Mina_Angel I did find an alternative, use the machete one hand build this guy used for the frozen empress, it works too but..... I think they patched damage, it does 70k-77k max for me. The rest is hoping that he doesn't one hit kill you after you land that melee attack. And of course hoping the attack lands at all, had times where the boss isn't even hit by it.

Have any of you thought that we don't care how strong your character is???? And have you thought about the fact that we want a tutorial on how to beat him easily without one shoting him????? Some people including me like to work for our kill...so maybe drop tutorial on what we'll need and what weapons and buffs to use because I can tell you as a code vein veteran who's done every boss but this one he's damn near impossible and I can tell you as well that this video isn't helpful at all its just you flaunting your crap at us

Either hit boss during reduced damage period (first few seconds) or you grazed it. I've since one shot all of them with the build.

@@memovsnake1590 well I did it in the same order it didn't one shot him I got 87k but it still worked regardless and the first time I had forgotten to switch my companion to jack, so it defaulted his ability to the other characters which I had equipped.
