Correct! That's why most countries are not using it as currency but as capital goods. For example - Gold is something where people invest because it adjusts itself according to inflation. Secondly, compared to 2008 the Bitcoin price fluctuation has decreased. Currency is stable because the government can pump it and slow it according to its needs. In short terms it looks good but in long term this has resulted in more inflation and more corruption and bail outs.
