I really really love this song. I had attempted to end my life this way before but was detained and served 11 months in a youth secure facility and my life has absolutely turned around. Please remember that every time you hurt you get stronger every time you fall you have the ability to get back up. Search for the little joys in life and if you can’t find any become one. Smile at the people in the grocery store make someone on the train smile. Know that you have the power to change your life and to life how you choose. Suicide is not the answer because even if you can’t help yourself you can make a difference in someone else’s life.

This 5-part series is a masterpiece and everyone deserves to see it. Sadly i can relate the self-harm in the first episode as I suffer psychosis and harmed myself badly and hung myself (rescued in the nick of time by a fluke and thanks to a friend noticing a weird message i sent them and they sent the police). I was sectioned, and am in recovery, but THIS IS CRIMEWAVE has been a wonderful album to enjoy as I recover. I even saw Codefendants live at LEEDS in 2023 supporting NOFX, just a bit sad Fat Mike wasn't on BASS! I did get to shout to Mike as he got on his tour bus that his Cokie the Clown album saved my life, as i was listening to it a lot in the lead up to my hanging and it stopped me so many times, knowing he felt so bad too helped me. Who knows, any other time, I could have died. I hope he heard me. I also shouted to him "THANK YOU".
