@@collindean7313 Sure thing my bro! I will definitely try to help out with this? Is it happening with every team you create or just that particular team? Also, have you tried switching up your brand and number style to see if that mixes things up and solves the problem on its own? Oftentimes there are bugs that were present early on that are corrected but only if you start a new team from scratch. Let me know if any of this helps if not I'll continue trying until we figure it out! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

My Team was based in California so when I replaced it with San Jose state I noticed the second year around I was now in San Jose, CA… but yes Year 1 was in Bama. Try replacing a sorry team near your geographical location to help.

Team builder in 2014 was legit. If I remember right I was able to create and upload my entire high school conference to Road to Glory, I haven't played Road to Glory in 25, but in 2014 you played like an 8 game senior season of high school. It was cool playing those seasons against my actual high school conference. It'd be cool to do that again.

Yessss that’s one thing I really miss from RTG is the HS season and being able to add in custom teams to RTG. I’ve seen people adding their HS as a college to dynasty but it hits different when it’s an actual HS team that you get to use the design for. It adds an extra dimension that I think is lacking slightly in 25 despite the fact that I do genuinely love 25 so far… I think we’re just so happy to have CFB back we’re kinda overlooking some of these small things that EA seemed to either miss or just blatantly ignore 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

I feel your pain man it’s kind of half and half for me but these are some methods that have helped for sure! I’m actually working on some designs for the community that I have to go back and restart from scratch because I got the one error that I cannot fix with a few of them… the ever so devastating “Unknown Error Occurred”. That’s the one error that I have zero solution for right now and it shows it’s ugly head randomly when it feels like it and devastates me after I put in hours sometimes into one design 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Since you are talking to someone at EA...(if these have been mentioned, my apologies), things I would like to see: 1. The ability to edit created team player names. 2. Generic stadium / practice facility 3. Ability to practice with your created team 4. Custom head coach for a created team...these are just a few of the things that I think would be great for us that love to create teams and play them in the game.

Steev, you’re killing it with these videos! Helping everyone succeed with TeamBuilder! I’ve been struggling with my team design, but it hasn’t been due to the issues covered in this video. Turns out it was just issued with size and placement that have been stressing me out. Like you said, trial and error and after about a week of trying to figure out why images on my helmet wouldn’t match in size and placement, I’ve finally been able to get them to match, it just takes time and patience. Also to anyone who doesn’t have Photoshop I highly recommend Photopea, as it’s what I’ve been using for my text images for my field and jerseys. I’m only using Photopea temporarily, because I’ll be getting access to Photoshop and Illustrator once again very soon, but Photopea is an excellent alternative 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

As a designer (one that works for one of the schools in this game lol) that grew up playing every version of this game since 2003 this site has been a frustrating experience as you have heard from many. Some wish list items that would be great for them to consider are: - Increase the limit of files you can upload (2k has unlimited I believe) or keep it to 10 files but per asset so that you could remove and add different files for the different portions of the team (10 for each uniform, 10 for the field etc) - The ability to change colors of files across all placements (you can do so on certain elements like the helmet bumpers) - MORE pant stripe, jersey font number, overall jersey design, and most importantly, SOCK options. I know they're going brand supplier specific, but they clearly only included a small percentage of each brands font book / design catalog, and imo is so plain that I had to create and upload my own pant stripes / shoulder designs to match what I wanted. And then the socks, not being able to add some sick striped designs or any of the cool ones that are out there is one of the few small but very disappointing missing features. - Better color matching. Colors picked tend to be muted or very different when used as gear or crowd color. - Obviously, some kind of stadium creator or something more in depth (even the ability to swap all signage for every stadium automatically with your teams logos & colors would be an INSTANT upgrade). There's more I am sure I can sit here and think of but then we'd be here for a bit longer lol. I know these are all things you've already heard and seen commented but I think its important for them to at the very least see that these comments are coming in volume and not just one offs from picky players. Immersion is something we've been spoiled by over the last decade in our games and that is what the standard should be. Anyways, great video man keep up the good work.

The Adobe background eraser is great for uploading images without a white background, and it’s free. As far as stadiums, the Oklahoma state stadium is a good go to. The only obvious identifier is the person that the stadium is named after.

Find logos in PNG format or do the background removal work in Photoshop and export as PNG. Just make sure that the image size meets their specs or it will take forever to upload or you might get an error.

@@thenikonjones facts! Yeah it has to be under 512kb (or I sometimes say half a megabyte because some people aren’t terribly familiar with Kilobytes lol) and it’ll work no problem! I also made a mistake, it seems as though JPEGs are NO LONGER compatible. When they did the initial release JPEG images were able to be uploaded but now they no longer work. Sorry about that bit of misinformation 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Oh yes so I’m not as familiar with paint but does the program use layers? Like are you able to place different parts of your images on separate layers so they’re isolated by themselves? If so, you can put your logo on its own layer and the background on its own layer and hide the background layer and export it as a .PNG but when you export be sure to look out for an option that mentions “Alpha Channel”! If there’s a check box or radio button that allows you to enable the alpha channel (which just indicates a transparent background segment) make sure you do so otherwise the program will add in a white background just by default. Sir Steev, this video has been extremely helpful for me. Question for you though. Have you run into the issue when you submit a team, that uniform 5 basically copies and pastes itself onto uniform 3 or 4, or both? I’ve had it happen a lot now, and when I go to edit 3 or 4 to fix them, the change applies to all 3 alternates? It’s very aggravating and I haven’t figured out how to stop it from happening yet. Any advice?

Hey bro! I haven’t run into that issue yet but I’ve heard of people having this type of problem with the alternates occasionally. So far the only solutions that I’ve recommended that seem to work are changing to a different browser like the Edge browser, or uploading the team with 1 alternate then add one at a time until you’ve got all 3 alternates the way they’re supposed to be! Another person did tell me to switch from Chrome to Edge because it handled Teambuilder better. So I used Edge last time I was on to finish making all the teams. Hey bro! So the Ajax error is one that should be corrected if you repeatedly attempt to upload the team after getting that error. Have you tried using the Edge or Brave browser? Those two browsers typically work much better for TeamBuilder! Let me know I’ll try to help best I can 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

I have to ask since we have the same number font on your jersey, have you encountered any issues with your teams jersey number? I'm asking this because I've noticed that every player with double digit numbers that ends with 1, somehow that 1 would be on top of other numbers.

San Diego state has a good stadium if you’re going a west coast team in Nevada, Arizona, of. Cali maybe Utah. No logos anywhere just the stadium name just the hills mountains and a few palm trees

Oh dang man so you’ve tried making it from scratch but in game it’s just blank? Have you tried making a completely different login on EA or a different computer if you have access? I’m not sure why but it seems like certain people have very specific issues and I feel trapped because I wish I was actually there to help you to see what the issue is. Try making a new logon and maybe even try Chrome just to shake things up and see if you can get it through trial and error 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Yeah bro! It’s strange but a lot of people on laptops and especially anything mobile like a tablet are seemingly having tons of issues. I’m on my Mac Pro desktop and it works flawlessly but on my MacBook Pro it has a tendency to reset my entire Finder or just not show any of the options. I’m glad you got it going! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

So I haven’t mentioned this (I should’ve) but unfortunately right now the reason it’s like that is because the individual players by default have the option to edit gear so the mismatching is something I’m hoping they’ll correct in the near future because it’s definitely frustrating. It does give all the players the option to use the gear brand for whichever brand you’ve chosen in TeamBuilder, but you’d have to go in one by one and change them which I understand is ridiculous. I will say that with recent teams I’ve made all the branding matches so it may have been fixed or it just might be an intermittent problem but either way good call out on that bro great feedback! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

4:20 for accessories go to the add color choose a preset close you your teams and crank the brightness to damn near black then mess with the saturation to get it to show better

One thing I have found is that even though they give you the option to have turf or grass, whatever the stadium you choose has in it, that's what it will be. I had chosen North Texas' stadium & I chose real grass too but it's actually field turf & not natural grass which is what they have in real life. Pretty bummed about that because I HATE the fake stuff.

It’ll be much easier on whichever computer has more power. TeamBuilder is a resource hog right now in the beta so I would recommend using the better computer if they’re both Windows. If one is a Mac I’d suggest using that because I have a Mac Pro desktop and it works really well on that! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Fyi~ I actually figured out how to fix it, this is also going to fix team name text limits as well. I don’t know if it’s because it’s in a beta, but if you click on the top of the website, it gives you an option to inspect the page, then if you go to the text box city or team you can edit the HTML from 14 characters to whatever characters you need. This works for any text box that has limited characters.

Yeah you’re not the first person that’s told me about this issue it seems to be happening to quite a few people! I haven’t been able to recreate it myself despite trying by making a bunch of different teams, but I told someone to remake their team from scratch (I know how much of a pain this is I apologize) and that seems to be the only thing that solves that problem so far. Keep me posted on things you’re trying and I’m gonna make sure to emphasize this issue in my notes to them 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

So right now the only way is to make a little custom logo that resembles the sticker you want and add several layers to put them on the helmet. You could even make a graphic with like 10-12 stickers so you only need one layer in TeamBuilder but I’m with you though this is a feature I really would love to have! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

If i wanted to add a shoulder design, say a knights armor like a shoulder piece what would be the best way to do that?

Hey bro! So in my opinion the best way would be to go onto Google images or maybe try Ideogram AI to make an armor image, then bring the image into Photoshop or Photopea and use the pen tool to trace out the general shape. Once you have that just stylize it a bit to your liking, give it some dynamic stroke lines to make it look realistic and make sure you hide the background layer so you have just the alpha channel. Once you have that exported as a png bring it into TB and unlock the proportion lock on the left and resize each axis independently until it sits on the shoulder in a way that looks right. If you need help let me know I can try to make something when I get time! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

I am having major issues at stadium, when I click on field surface or sometimes crowd colors my screen blacks out, I submitted my teams and even if I previewed my field my field never showed up on the game it's always black. If someone would help me with some solutions.

This seems to be an issue with TeamBuilder with Madden and CFB it’s so frustrating. What I’ve noticed is that it’s a JavaScript issue causing the editable field to completely disappear from the syntax for some strange reason. I found the problem but haven’t found a solution yet because of course EA’s source code is highly encrypted for obvious reasons and if I even tried I’d probably get banned or something. I’m also not even certain if I’d be able to figure it out it’s honestly been several years since I’ve dove deep into JavaScript. I have been letting them know this is an ongoing problem though hopefully they fix it 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

@@shaqattack600 Yeah so they released a patch and part of that patch according to the rep I’m in contact with was a fix for what she called “field not rendering properly in browser” so my understanding was it would be fine but then I immediately saw people having the same exact issue. You do however have to recreate the team from scratch if you made them before the patch and were having that issue you will have to make a team from scratch unfortunately but according to them it should work 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Mostly because it’s not available off-line which I do not understand. And there are no tutorials that go in depth. So this has been corrected however, unfortunately, you have to remake the team from scratch again because the bug is still saved in any team made before they corrected the issue. Try switching to your Away or Home (whichever one isn’t selected at the time) and try submitting again, I’ve been told that’s working for some people. Also, have you edited your roster at all? I’ve noticed that if you edit the roster in any way it’s causing constant errors with some builds but I’m not sure the reason. You said you tried creating it new from scratch with a a brand new edit?

Ohhhh yes the unexpected error occurred is much different than the Ajax error or the violation of terms error. The unexpected error is like death by TeamBuilder unfortunately. Any time I’ve gotten that I’ve had to restart. I know this is frustrating BUT I can tell you that restarting and making the team from scratch has worked every time I’ve gotten that error. One tip, I’ve noticed that I’ve only gotten that error when I’ve edited my logos and changed things a ton of times but I’m not certain that that’s what caused it. I hope this helps at least a little bit bro 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

I tried like 5 different uniform options with some killer chrome stuff.. for some reason on the menu screen everything chrome is nearly not see -able at all.. but in game it works. I figured out that my old teams when I first built when team builder dropped I was editing my team throughout the week and when EA drops a maintenance that team has that “400 error” and still has it now. So be cautious when trying to create a team when an maintenance is about to drop

Ajax issue is a javascript issue. The browser is a factor when using this tool. Do not use firefox, it is picky about JavaScript. I would use chrome as I have not had any issues with it.

Ajax is in fact a JavaScript issue this is great feedback. I will say I majored on Computer Network Engineering along with Programming and Ajax errors can be server side just as easily as client side, but using a different browser is definitely a good place to start! I haven’t seen any issues with Chrome or Safari either and I’ve heard people on Windows say that Edge works really well also! Good stuff bro 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Yeahhhh this seems to be a glitch that’s happening to some people I haven’t experienced it yet but a ton of people have dealt with it. I passed it along to the EA rep so hopefully we will have fixes soon! I know that this is likely happening because they probably have code built into the TeamBuilder HTML that allows for a section to choose this but it’s inactive on the actual site at the moment probably because it’s not functioning properly so it’s defaulting to the first team that would be on the list alphabetically which is Alabama. As of the last 3-4 hours after finishing a team I’m having issues using 2 of my 3 alternate uniforms once the team was downloaded. Any fix for that? When I tab over to alt 2 and alt 3 it just stays on whatever I was using before.

So your alternates just don’t show at all? Do you have any logos or images on the alts that might be causing that problem? Also, check to make sure the brand logo (Nike, Adidas, UA) matches whatever you selected in the brand tab. I noticed glitches where the alts will revert back to Nike if you choose UA or adidas and in that case it can cause your alts to glitch in game. Let me know! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Hey bro did you try to make a new team save from scratch? Sometimes these bugs linger after hot fixes on old saves. Sorry if I already suggested this I never see replies I only see new comments in YT studio but I feel like I recognize your name for sure 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

@@CodenameSteev yes I did it after I say my helmet logo when working on helmets still no stripes for helmet jerseys pants etc and my field isn’t all black anymore it’s all green now so still not getting field lines etc

For anyone making edits and trying to update in game..... it buggs out and reverts to old builds; if you start a new dynasty it will use your most current teambuilder update

I’ve been told that Edge works perfectly on Windows and I’m on Mac and Safari has been very smooth for the most part! Chrome is also a decent one to try but there are more of these bugs than Safari by a lot tbh. It’s still usable on Chrome though. Hope this helps bro 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

My football helmet is backwards on the left side of the helmet. It looks okay if you just have an image, but I used a letter in my logo, and it's backwards on the other side. Is there a way to fix that?

Absolutely! So go into your custom layer and you’ll see a few options. The default is to mirror the logo I believe. If you change that option to “duplicate” instead you’ll see that your letter should now be facing the right way because it’s just duplicating the same image and orientation on both sides. It does but it uses the location of the team you replace so until they fix it the location you choose in TeamBuilder does nothing to help or hinder your recruiting capabilities. Also, many people are getting the glitch where it just automatically throws you in Alabama. I’m trying to find a workaround for that (if there is one) until they patch these bugs 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

@@CodenameSteev Almost... I want to play on the same team though! You can do that in offline dynasty no problem, but you cant play a custom team in offline dynasty mode... only in the online mode, which you cant use more than 1 controller in. :( Thanks for the response though.
