Bro I have a question in probability questions when should we add and when to multiply.

Take it like this way , When an Event (whose Probability you want to take out) can be found from independent different operations - We Add them , because from each operation independently you can get the probability of A getting to 0 If the probability will depend on all the operations simultaneously, then we multiply. I remember it was taught in our probability classes in school i guess.

Can we pass an index variable into the function like idx+1 and keep iterating that way? When do we know when to use for loop?

For every state of A and B, you want to try all 4 operations that’s why i used a for loop to try all four operations on each state.

Generally qns get dislikes because of poor problem statement Dont worry, in interviews, they clear the qns well and explain well if you dont get it. You can check for explanation in discuss sections else leave the qn if its too badly explained
