CODESYS: How to create and use Function blocks in the project

Thank you for the video. I am using Codesys 3.5.19 and during creation of own FB I automatically receive EN input and EN0 output, so the ladder line connected to them. And StartFlash and FlashOutput are in the air. How to avoid this EN and EN0 creation and to handle this situation?

Souldn't the stop button be NC ?

For safety reasons the STOP contact in the code should be a normal contact, not a negated one. STOP switcjh itself should be a normally closed one. This way, if there are any issues with the switch, it will be considered as the switch is pressed and the proces will stop. On the other hand, if we use a normally open switch for stop, and then a negated contact in the code, in terms of logic it will be equivalent, but if there is an issue in the circuitary of the Stop switch, if you press it, it may not close the contact and the system will not act asa expected.
