Great videos, but I am confused re: consolidation of DepartmentListComponent and EmployeeListComponent into the routingComponents array, and then importing this const array and adding it to the module's declarations array. Eveything I read on what can go in declarations[] says "component, directive, or pipe", but we're adding a reference to an *array* of components. How does that work? Is it because declarations itself has this definition in @angular/core? "declarations?: Array;" (i.e., the "| any[]" piece)

I have watched other tutorials but I may just be dumb but I didn't get it and they didn't even say it clearly like in here, many videos actually skip these stuff. I read about ts just recently so I can understand ng.. still not comfortable with the new syntax stuff, others lost me at decorators and a million imports typed. Thanks for the vid, good explanation.
