Hi Dary! I really appreciate the tutorials. I wonder what's best practice on extending the user table. I was thinking of creating a extra User Info table with a one-to-one relationship to give it more flexibility without always updating the user table. I that a good idea or is it better just to keep it to one user table and add extra field there? Thanks!

Definitely agree with that! A simple example might be the image that's related to a post as well. You could just create a post_image table where you store the post_id and the image url.

the hasOne relationship didn'twork for me until i specified the foreign key return $this->hasOne(PostMeta::class, 'post_id'); i still dont get it, any thoughts ?

Eloquent determines the foreign key of the relationship based on the parent model name. This means that something is not correct in your relationship.

@@codewithdary I had to do the same. hasOne(PostMeta::class, 'post_id') in order for it to return the stored meta info.
