well you can save the token to login again after refresh, and you'll need to create a user collection to store extra fields for user

@@codewithnomi That might not be good approach ... the web version of firebase actually persists the data through cookies...while it does't on react native...i think it should be better to use react-native-firebae instead

You can use AsyncStorage to persist the user! I'm currently working on a react native firebase auth + chat app, i'll explain managing session in that series. stay tuned 😉
