Fun facts: 1) The CoD4 and MW2 RPD iron sights are misaligned. The front post should be positioned a little lower. 2) The animations for the RPD changed in MWR. The soldier now racks the charging handle after replacing the belt. This is correct, as this is how the RPD operates in real life. 3) Despite being a Russian made LMG, it is incorrectly used by Russian troops in CoD4 and MW2, since they replaced the RPD with the PKM during the 1960s. 4) The RPD in MW2 uses the same scope mount as the AK47 in game, but is chopped in half for the reload animation. This is changed in MW2R, and the scope mount is unlatched before replacing the belt. 5) Despite being called an M60E4, it has a longer barrel and a smaller handguard than an actual E4, and is actually the E3. This also applies to MW3 6) For some reason, the PKM in MWR shares ammo with the M249 SAW, despite both guns using different ammunition. 7) The M1919, an American weapon, in WaW is shown being used as a turret gun for the Soviet T-34 tank. 8) The soldier in WaW uses the belt drum of the MG42 as if it was a regular drum mag without actually loading any rounds into the gun, which means the gun shouldn't be able to fire anything. 9) In MW2, the M240 was given a M249 belt box with grooves from a PKM belt box. The box is attached onto the underside of the gun. Not only does it not have an attachment point for the box there, attaching the box there would mean it is blocking the ejection port, which means the gun would jam. 10) In MW2, the folded charging handle never moves from its folded position. In MW2R, the charging handle is now unfolded the entire time. 11) The M60 in BO1 is a M60E3, which is anachronistic, since it isn't introduced until 1986. A more suitable choice would be the original M60. The forward pistol grip was removed and it uses anachronistic Troy Battle Sights instead of its original sights like the majority of guns in BO1. The M60 is also mounted on Mi-8 helicopters in some missions, and in "Operation 40", it fires explosive rounds for some reason. 12) Despite being called "MK46", the gun is actually the M249 Para SAW with the RIS hanguard of the real MK46, since the gun has a STANAG magwell that the MK46 lacks. 13) The PKP Pecheneg in MW3 is reversed: a)The belt is fed from left-to-right instead of right-to-left b)The charging handle is located at the left instead of the right. The user also disregards the release button on the rear end of the feed tray cover and just lifts it up. 14) The Ameli's charging handle should be horizontal instead of vertical. 15) The LAD machine gun in WW2, which uses the same round as the Tokarev pistol, ejects large bottlenecked casings (though I am unsure if this is fixed or not). 16)The MG81, MG42 and the Stinger suffered a painful fire rate nerf: a)The MG81 fires at 491 RPM and 540 RPM with rapid fire, slower than the gun's 1500 RPM in real life b)The MG42 fires at 652 RPM and 722 RPM with rapid fire, slower than the gun's 1200 RPM in real life c)The Stinger fires at 312 RPM and 343 RPM with rapid fire, way slower than the gun's 1200 RPM in real life. (Also, I'm gonna add a bit of history of the Stinger in the replies). 17) The MG34 in MW2019 is portrayed as right-ejecting instead of down-ejecting. The non-disintegrating belt of the MG34 is also not shown.

The Stinger is a variant of the M1919 Browning. More specifically, it is a modified version of the .30 AN/M2, which is a specific aircraft model of the .30 cal M1919A4, so it can be used on the ground as an LMG. The gun was salvaged from crashed planes and fitted with a bipod. Among the salvaged guns, only 6 was made into the Stinger: fitted with a custom trigger, M1 Garand buttstock, BAR bipod, and BAR rear sights for allowing the gun to be used without a tripod. It had a fire rate of 1200-1500 RPM, three times as fast as the M1919A6, though they were never mass produced. The fast fire rate, however, resulted in the barrel overheating really quick. In the end, none of the Stingers survived WW2.

0:32 my favorite LMG is Dingo and MG81. MG81 in WW2 is really good in War mode and was OverPowered when that first came out. Edit: My favorite belt fed is MG81. I use this more then any one ther belt fed LMG Edit 2: I don’t blame these guys that gets a hit marker with sniper rifles 3:01 and 20:25. Snipers in black ops 4 is much worse then older CODs, they should been 1 hit kill not 2 hit kill.

Belt fed systems are better put on heavy sustain fire weapons like LMGs, that's why you don't see any belt fed SMGs or assault rifles, and adding a belt would make in most cases the weapon fire slower and have a firing delay
