Aman - Let me know if am in right direction. I just assumed there are two neurons with weight and bias.. I take output of 1 neuron and pass same to second neuron. This time its only single input and not 2 .

Honestly I would be insulted if I got this as an interview question. I would counter with how often will I need to code single neurons from scratch on the job? Stop letting companies get away with rejecting u for dumb reasons.

Maybe the intent of the interviewer is different. Interviewer is trying to test two things with this question. 1. How good you are with basics 2. Can you put your logics in python code snippet So as a candidate one should not think you are expected to build NN from scratch:). Hope that helps. Open for arguments :)

@@UnfoldDataScience I can agree that this is useful knowledge that may help solve problems down the line, emphasis on "may". But in an interview setting I don't believe esoteric seldom used techniques are what should be assessed. If you were able to show a solution in 12 minutes then this isn't something that couldn't easily be picked up while on the job. If a problem is only difficult because it's obscure then it's not really a problem is it?

@@UnfoldDataScience a better assessment in my opinion would evaluate if a candidate could find how to solve building a network from scratch rather than just expecting them to memorize this just for the sake of taking interviews.
