it was hours ago thst i watched that part of the stream but i vaguely remember doug saying that he has it on but it wasn't working in that window. probably also to do with him using different browsers for streaming vs normal use, and having a separate non-stream pc now

Bloody hell this is the third vod (the other being the US citizenship test and first AI DND) in the past month to have a section muted. Is music really that special that someone playing it on their stream will make the owners (not creator of course) bankrupt?

aside from the answer "corporations exist purely to make as much money as possible", the best i can do to justify the practice of claiming songs like that is this: they don't want to set a precedent of allowing it in X and Y cases, then for someone to come along with Z case that they don't want to allow it for. i've also heard that at least in the US, you can lose your copyright hy not enforcing it, but i'm not sure how true that is. and of course, it gets claimed by the Content ID system, which has no sense of how infringing or commercial the use is

I know dogedoge doesn't look at the vod channel's comment, but I'm still going to say it here. The tts code where you're trying to get the exception message which cause the issue is wrong. You used a variable that is created only in the try block to print out the exception message which won't work. You should print out the original message instead. Best regrets.

Also the dick would probably be better constructed as a heap, since you need to sort it (while incrementing) everytime, and the resolution of peggle is restricted to its resolution (or ur screen's resolution) it should be affordably small.

I am trying to see and understand coding without any qualifying experience, and was excited to see some coding, then the coding started at 17:30 and I was lost in less than a minute. Where do I start? because its definitely not here.

Coding is called a computer language. Python Java c… while they all have their similarities they are all different languages. Watching a Doug Doug coding adventure and hoping to learn code is a bit like watching an anime and hoping to learn Japanese. Like any language you need to understand the structure and logic of the system. And also by practicing. There are free sites out there that will teach you basic code. But if you’re trying to be completely hands off I’m sure there’s actual instructors on KZbin who will go over the code and explain it. Might even be twitch streamers who show off their code with the intention so you can ask questions 😊
