Thanks a lot for your comment. I’ll probably explain in one of my videos later but the reason why I’m working in Lausanne is that Vaud canton has different opportunities the inspired me a lot since several years and Geneva canton didn’t have what I was looking for. There’s also a different mentality so that’s why I prefer commute and hybrid work than working 15 minutes from home.

when i was young ( high school ) student. I watched videos a day in the life of software engineer and see that their life so chill. Everything become nightmare when my coding journey is started in real jobs. Study Big O, Data Structure, new technoogies, new tools. I'm not allowed to stop learning even my shift is ended and i got home. One of the most stressful jobs ever and youtubers make it always seem like this is one of the easiest, chill jobs ever that get pay well - 6 figures.
@elencantadordegatos8 ай бұрын
I wouldn't say it's stressful; it depends on the company. As a junior developer, it's normal to keep learning, so you'll need to work a lot initially. That can be stressful, but take it step by step. Trying to learn everything at once will make it overwhelming and ineffective. Also, keep in mind that these types of KZbin videos often glamorize things. However, most good companies support their employees with this “environment” and this “practices”, helping them be more productive and mentally healthier.
@lazyman24518 ай бұрын
it all depends on the project your working on. but for certain they do give you enough work to prevent you creating your own application or even a business with all the knowledge you acquired from them 😂
@elencantadordegatos8 ай бұрын
@@lazyman2451 yes I agree it depends on the project you're working on, but I wouldn't agree with what you said, “for certain they do give you enough work to prevent you from creating your own application or even a business”, normally they don't give you things to do off-work hours, if they do, then they pay you. (If you are not getting paid for that, it's time to move, haha). But besides that, yes you have time to practice, create apps and business with your new knowledge if you really want. I know my 24 hours are not your 24 hours, but one hour a day, it's 365 hours a year on your new project keep that in mind…
