Hey, Coding in Public! I'm binge-watching all of your videos so far and I would like to ask how you use two fonts simultaneously, specifically having another (script font) for attributes? I haven't checked your older videos but if you have it saved, can you link it on your description for future videos

Nice and elegant. Thank you so much for your work.... by the way. Do you know any "complex form" graphic tool to create automatically forms for web or movile apps?.

Hi, I'm not able to create a custom snippet that inserts only the CSS value as yours: ",hsl" -> "hsl(var(--${1}))". It works only if I use it as a CSS declaration, not as a value of a declaration. Could you help me? Thanks
@CodinginPublic Жыл бұрын
hmm...not sure? I’ve created a Raycast snippet for it; but I'd assume you could do it in VSCode? Wonder if a system replacement would do? either macOS built-in shortcut or the Windows equivalent?

Great video! Could you make a video where you choosing colors for dark mode and light mode as bg color and text color and so on? I

Glad you enjoyed it! I’m not sure I understand your question?
@w3mw2 жыл бұрын
@@CodinginPublic hm, when I starting to create a website, I have issues of what kind of colors I will use for the website, in light and dark mode. And knowing what kind of colors works togheter and not. Do you have any good website i could read about this or could you maybe make a video about coloring website and design thinking? :)
@CodinginPublic2 жыл бұрын
Ah, okay, so the design-side of choosing the colors. General principles? I typically choose a theme hue like I did in this video. I use that hue for most everything-so never using true black or true white, but a “hued” version. As to which colors work together, that's more of a color theory question. I don't know that I have a real system for setting those; I just trust my eye and look at a lot of designs. The more good inputs, hopefully the better my color choices. Here's a helpful video on color theory: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6azpWeIpbtnjsU Here are a few helpful videos on picking colors as a web dev: - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qWrTZKF8add5l7c - kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6KbfYyga9CFr6c - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIa3pql6rqt7rdE Hope some of that helps!

Cool vid but how can i do that placeholder transparent for example if i have an image in the background not just a color?
@CodinginPublic2 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure I understand? Are you saying that your page background has an image?
@serhiiarkhypenko83702 жыл бұрын
@@CodinginPublic yeah
@CodinginPublic2 жыл бұрын
It should be the same? Just make sure your input has a background color so you can see the text.
@serhiiarkhypenko83702 жыл бұрын
@@CodinginPublic no, i mean placeholder that moves to the top and i have transparent input what should i do if in the vid u do it with background color. If i set background to transparent i would see the line of input

Can you create a video that shows the rest of the form input and styling them
@CodinginPublic Жыл бұрын
Just did a series on the Net Ninja’s channel that covers a few more of the inputs. Any one specifically you’re interested in?

@CodinginPublic oh have you. I will need to go take a look, just all of them to be honest, what's your thought on using custom date pickers etc
@CodinginPublic Жыл бұрын
@@rendetacf Because of all the accessibility items you need to consider, I wouldn't try to recreate a custom date picker from scratch. But there are good libraries out there that take accessibility into consideration and provide a better UX, so I'd reach for one of those.

Regarding container margin-inline: could i achieve the same effect with max-width of 70 rem and constant value for margin-inline?
@CodinginPublic2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you could so max-width fit and then a margin-inline of auto! I’m pretty sure that’ll give you the same result. I just thought this one-liner was fun 😆
