Hello sir, I'm 17 years old and I dropped out my studies a long time ago due to Lack of guidance (like I didn't knew what to choose after 10th, what are courses, what are colleges etc. And no body answered me because I was the only student in my area) let's back to the topic. And then after 2 years of my free time, I heard of software engineering And i think I'm interested in it. I need some proper guidance from starting because I can't even ask my teacher because I don't have any teacher since I left my studies 'years' ago. I'm not living in a rural area but still yahan mere area pe koi padha likha nahi hai. Sabne 6th ya 8th class mein padhai chhod di thi. I think I should start my studies from 10th again. Please help me Sir. I'm not able to understand the video.I still don't know what to do. Please guide me in details..

If you have a computer or laptop or even just a smartphone then it's possible to learn to code and build understanding. You don't NEED to go to a CS engineering university to become job ready programmer. First try to understand if you are more interested in making the design aspects of a website and how it looks OR do you want to work on making the machinery of a website/application. Depending upon that you can go for either front end development or backend development. Front end deals with the visual aspects of websites and application. Now if you choose backend which is much difficult to grasp than front end development, then pick backend language such as python or c++ or java. Each of these languages have some basic functionality. First you learn about variables, strings, lists, dictionaries. Then you learn about For loops While loops. Then you learn how to use these to make a program that does basic stuffs such as Adding two numbers and giving an output. At this stage you know the ABCs of a language. Then you follow a road map such as the one given in this video. You go indepth into the many functionality of the programming language to make advanced programmes. After you have clear understanding of the tools of the programming language (functions,classes,etc) then you can attempt learning how to solve problems on the competitive programming sites such as Codewars or GeeksforGeeks. From here you learn how to handle any problem given to you with coding. Basically problem solving. Now you can learn data structures and algorithms to make the codes even more efficient. This sector is what most interview questions come from for programming jobs. Now you can learn how to code industry ready code which basically uses your basic coding but more organized and specific. The internet is filled with resources but you have to follow a road map or else you will be lost. If you like web development then it's much easier and faster to learn. Then you have to learn HTML CSS JavaScript. Try joining Freecodecamp course for free. Or can follow from KZbin. Learn to make projects such as a website design for an online store. If you practice from this age you will be successful. Something I was not told from your age
