I still remember when I first collected VS titles when they were newer label. The most difficult thing about VS was finding enough titles I know I would keep for years re-watching them. I would buy a stack once in a while, only end up keeping few after watching all of the stack. Thankfully over years I finally have small decent stack size of VS I do love. VS knows how to be creative selecting interesting unique forgotten films no matter how good or bad they are. Special impressive slipcovers, and impressive heavy levels of love and care that goes into restoring. Most surreal experiences was witnessing Vinegar Syndrome becoming more famous and able to get their hands on highly sought after titles I never thought would be possible for VS to do so, but at the same time it does all made sense thanks to their impressive film restoring skills.

I agree it definitely can be hit or miss but I usually enjoy most.i used to be able to keep up with the releases but they are releasing so much I can't keep up lol thanks for watching and the comment!!

Vinegar Syndrome sells the slip cover procreation as well. When I order from Vin Syn I always match what I ordered with there slip protection.

That's a very impressive collection!! I'm curious - out of all the boutique distributors, what made you decide to focus on Vinegar Syndrome rather than say Severin, Shout/Scream Factory or even Criterion? Was this something planned from the beginning of your collecting or something that you gravitated towards the larger your collection became?

Hey thanks I appreciate it.honestly just sat down several years ago and decided I wanted to start collecting heavily in one label and then just cherry pick the rest .I went with vin syn because at the time they were a tiny company and I enjoy crappy old movies and the slipcovers are top notch I almost collect them like baseball cards I love the artwork and decided on them the films they put out are not for everyone but thery are just what I love to collect

I thought they were still shrinkwrapped at first, but those are the slipcover protectors VS sell for $2 each right? Well worth it by the look. A beautiful collection.

Thank you and I actually buy them from ebay because I buy them in bulk and you can usually get them for under a dollar a piece doing it that way but if I was just grabbing a couple here or there I would just get them from vs to.Thank you for watching!!

@@MovieMadness1994 I've got about a dozen VS titles - I collect horror and sci fi movies so I'm more selective about VS that way. I'm in the UK though, so most of them are just standard editions. To get the slipcase versions, you really need to pre-order or order very close to release and the shipping charges etc just make that impossibly expensive for most folks outside the US - it;s so much cheaper to wait for their Black Friday sale and order a whole bunch all together. I did make sure to get the Amityville box though. VS really know their stuff, they do really lovely releases and they know their customer - it's all aimed at the collector. The slipcases all match and are made to be displayed on a shelf, they are really works of art and I congratulate you on your stunning collection. It's how these releases should be treated!
