Since your weapon's at 5,000+ points, you needa be ranked Legendary to earn more points.

Interesting, I have over 97k kills with Lk24 (obv) as primary’ but I think something’s off i was in the top 100 then for three seasons straight nothing! Even the point distribution post match would be below 10 even when the kda would be around 4 averaged. I think this is a bug and am working with the cod team to see what’s achievable.

another tip is u can actually go into matches vs ai in the training mode and gain points until 2000+

I think the reason why your weapon XP is still gaining/losing in GM is that you have atleast one legendary in the lobby, that's almost guaranteed, heck you begin to face/play with legendary rank mid master ranks. Subscribed, greetings from sunny Egypt!

D: they do really need to fix their ranked match-up. If your weapon's at 5,000+ points, you can only gain points as Legendary but in that time, you can still lose points as Grand Master & Master so I think that part's a little flawed. And thank you for subscribing

If you've already gotten mail about getting the leaderboard emblem, then it should automatically show. You would need to set that weapon as your main loadout and it'll show!

You can only get points for your weapon in ranked. If MP, you have to win or at least be MVP/2nd if lost and if BR, then I think top 3 to get points.

@@jamesmcblane4171 I find that I can get more points in MP but I can also lose significantly more points in MP. It just really depends on what you prefer. If you do better in MP, then play MP. If BR, then play BR. I play both but have been doing more BR since I'm currently Legendary for it atm.

I don’t know what time zone you’re in but CODM says that it’s settled every Monday- UTC 00:00AM-5:00AM. You would receive mail stating your leaderboard placement and the reward :)

Did you mean #40 for global or regional? Global tends to have a glitch. If it's regional, then you should get a badge by the end of a week. If you still didn't, then I can only suggest reporting it on Activision's "Report a Bug" page :c

Can you confirm with me whether or not the global leaderboards for your region is accurate? For me, everyone before the top 10 in global is just a reflection of regional (you can see in my video). If the global leaderboards is accurate though, then you should be receiving mail from the leaderboard settlement on Sun/Mon (pending on your time zone).

For global, there’s a glitch they haven’t fixed. Check to see if the global leaderboard is a reflection of your regional. For ex, check to see if #25 on your regional is also #25 on the global.

If you didn't make it onto the leaderboard before settlement for this week, then they'll give you the badge by next week. You have to have that weapon in your main selected loadout. If that weapon's in, let's just say, Loadout 4 and you have Loadout 5 as your main, it won't show up >O

What's your weapon's level? If it's Master (3,500 points+), then you have to be Master in ranked to get points. If your weapon is 2,001-3,499 points, then you need to be ranked Pro in ranked.

Dang im 9 in the region and 18 globally with mx9 all I did was abuse it until I reached top 5000 legendary(all team death match) in 2 days, eventually I lost my top 5000 (slammed with shit teams) and this Monday it gave me the rank in my mail. I almost deleted the app cause I grinded like 15 hours a day to become top 5000 and lost it within a week then I got the email I was satisfied lol I suggest find a gun thats gonna carry you to top 5000

Hi! If you have already picked a region for the weapon leaderboards, then select the weapon you’re using and see how many points the person in 100th has. You have to have more points than them to get on the leaderboard.

If you check other players on the global leaderboard's points and your position seems to coincide, then it's a glitch on CODM's part. But I've been noticing that the global sometimes reflects the regional's placement so double check :c If you still haven't gotten the gold display, then report it to Activision. THEY NEED TO FIX THEIR STUFF.

With the refresh, it'll display your updated points after the update, with any games you've played during that time. But if you don't play and others play, then yes, you could lose your placement after the ranking update.

If your weapon's above 5,000 points, then you would need to be Legendary :( BUT you can still LOSE points if you use it so I'd suggest using another gun (recommend using season's META) to get to Legendary as fast as possible. For the weapon badge, it's actually weekly settlement so you have to earn and maintain it every week.

I reached legendary and can confirm now there is movement in points. I lost 18 points despite 25kills n mvp because we lost the match. Now I am at 5045 which is 93 in my region. I reached 5066 73 in region once. When will the points will be counted. its just showing I haven't got the badge.

You should get mail from CODM about being on the leaderboard after you get on it (on Sunday or Monday pending on your time zone). However, there have been some glitches so if you’re on the regional leaderboard and after a week, still didn’t get a badge, then you would need to report it to Activision :(

Since your gun's already Master- you HAVE to play ranked MP or BR with that gun to get points. If you play normal public matches with that gun, it won't help increase the points.

You can gain points in BR c: but do be aware that you need to secure a high enough standing to gain points. For example, if you run BR solo, try to get within the top 5 or else you could lose points :c

If your weapon is halfway past Diamond or higher, aside from constantly playing ranked games and winning, try your best to be MVP cuz that's how you can earn the most amount of points. On top of that, use Double Weapon XP cards to boost your points for winning or save you from losing points in matches.

My rank is legend and my weapon points is 5000+ i play hardpoint and domination i get in most matches 26-43 kills and still lose because random teams are dumb i lose points of my weapon more than i grind that’s sad

Are you losing because people on your team aren't playing the objective? If that's the case, I'd suggest either of the following: 1. Capturing the objective if/when your teammates aren't to try to balance the gameplay out 2. *I'd suggest this because I do this* Find teammates to group n play with that play the objective. Three's the magic number. That way, you can go for kills and your teammates can go for captures.

You have to select a region to compete in the leaderboards.

on the loading screen (before a ranked match starts), does codm show a logo if you’re one the top 100 in your region or is it only the top 100 global that gets that?

It'll show the logo if you're within the top 100 of your region after weapon leaderboard has been updated for the week. Top 100 in region is silver and Top 100 in global is gold.

@@xtxxeno6942 The settlement was finalized 4 hours ago so if you didn't get it, there may be a glitch and you'd have to contact support to report it. But could you double-check for me to see whether or not the global leaderboard is a reflection of your regional leaderboard? For me, sometimes it glitches and the global has the same data as the regional. Check from 11th place and onward in the regional and global. If it's the same, then it's a glitch.

Whatever your ranking is at around 5PM PST is what they distribute the badge for. Any changes around that time to your weapon’s score won’t be reflected until after settlement. If you did get your badge for the week, congrats! :D

Are you still listed as #9? The leaderboards update weekly so to keep the badge, you have to maintain that position every week.

If your weapon's available from normal pickup, then you can earn points- but be careful cuz you can still lose points if you're not within top 5 or so.

:'( Unfortunately, CODM has fixed that so now if your weapon is at 5,000 points, you need to be Legendary to get points. IMO, I think it's dumb.

@@yaoeuno That's really bad, we can reach 5000 even when we're in masters and suddenly you have to get through whole grandmasters to gain more points. I'll usually be legendary by the end of the ranked season. Right now I'm at rank 19 for bizon in my region. So i guess it'll be gone in a week.

@@JenTheThriller I know :/ They really need to change it. So far, from what I've seen, most people with 5,000+ points haven't been able to get points because they're competing with other people abusing meta weapons to try to get to Legendary. My tip to you is, if ranked MP is too sweaty rn, go for BR Solo and rank up to Legendary there :< That's what I've been doing, honestly.
