@@greyk610 while he did put up mvp stats, he was overtaken because his injury in early september allowed cody bellinger to play more games than yelich and put more production to his mvp case

@@Ron_Plays635 Yeah but Yelich still had better stats in many categories and really only got edged out in hits and homers by 9 less hits and 3 less homers while playing almost 30 less games (which only helps Yelich's case tbh) Yelich had a better OBP%. SLG% and OPS as well as way a better batting average, twice as many steals etc.. There's no reason that Yelich shouldn't have won the MVP in 2019, one of the biggest robberies I've ever seen.
