We have too many awkward players in attacking roles, only one who is comfortable is Diaz. You simply don’t have tall players as your wingers, him and Nunez getting the ball stuck under their feet, can’t do anything in tight areas

Gakpo is better off the left wing irrespective of height. You can play him how Real played Ronaldo off the left; basically as a second striker coming off the sides. It means either your left-sided No8 has to provide the width when he comes inside (Szoboszlai, Jones or Gravenberch) or the left-back does it. Whether Gakpo can hit the heights of Mane though…?
