Another fantastic interview. Well done for asking proper questions and then letting him answer. He seems a very nice and humble guy and certainly not the archetypal premier league footballer.

This is hilarious for us Dutch football fans to see the English be so surprised this season with Gravenberch as a 6 and Gakpo on the left wing 😂 neither of these are transformations to them, they've always played there in the Dutch league and throughout the academy. Due to the quality difference of the PL compared to the Eredivisie upon arrival they both adapted to playing wherever the coach needed them, we often see this happen with Eredivisie players moving to top teams

Yes and very frustrating to see great great talents being squandered by other leagues and their coaches... absolutely no surprise that these lads can play along with the best of the best.

It's true, you'll struggle to find such a nice, empathic and inspiring player as Cody worldwide, just ask some his former team mates at PSV or his team mates in the Dutch national team.

Thank you for pronouncing a decent foreign version of "Gravenberch". These are trying times for us. Ryan now coming under the spotlight of the English media is causing great anguish and terrible suffering to the sensitive and delicate ears of native Dutch speakers with that horrible "Gravenbertsjzw" sound the English philistines try to mangle the poor man's name into. No one is under any illusion that a native English speaker can pronounce a G the way God intended it to be, but it would at least ease the suffering if they've pronounced "berch" like "berg".

Thats his secret, he shows them the errors moment by moment...interesting

He’s always been a winger, he’s been played as a striker at times quite simple because he’s tall and good at shooting, u see a 6”4 player out wide and assume he’d be better centrally but he’s not, he can do a job there if there’s injuries or whatever but his best strengths do involve shooting to be fair, dribbling and crossing and i don’t think he has the movement or sense to play as a striker, as a winger myself it’s very simple u either run past ur fullback in behind or u get it to feet, as a striker if u get it to feet u often can’t turn and there’s players all around u, out wide it’s almost always 1v1

Isn’t he a slum landlord who keeps his properties in terrible conditions? That’s pretty shit and disappointing as a Liverpool fan. He has been playing really well but it’s often foolish to idolise these people.

I can't listen to this man say "Cody" or Gakpo! Most Wirral not Wirral thing I've ever heard! And the tone too, pure cheese. brown-nosing extravaganza 1/10 for video quality 10:00 now he is flicking his head to try turn his own lights on by the look of it. This really is appalling.
