I always find these award shows interesting because I feel like you get to see who’s authentic and who isn’t. Some people wear a nice suit in the crowd and then when they perform they change into their “stage persona”. Meanwhile, guys like CoJo and Stapleton wear the same suit on throughout the night. Like they aren’t trying to be something else for their performance, they’re just being themselves. Idk, I always appreciated that.

I love how You can tell she's in the audience based on his fixation on that particular point in the crowd every time he hits an emotional point in the song, he looks right at her. Absolutely beautiful Cojo. Listened to Luke last night and he simply canNOT sing. Another one that has to have the studio mix his music to make him sound good. You Sir simply got ripped off last night. Lanie and Hardys song should have been banned not given an award as it talks about killing a person for beating a female. I would not be able to control myself if I saw a man hit a female but i couldn't kill him. You had several hits last year with plenty of time on the road and you sir should have been the entertainer of the year not someone that sings about killing a person! The CMA should absolutely be ashamed of themselves because I did not hear but only a couple Real Country songs last night and you stole the show with your performance of The Painter.
