Just caught his appearance in Virgina. Such a humble guy. What an honor! A big inspiration in my outdoors endeavors. I hope to meet him again one day and become one of the tribe.

hit the nail on the head its common sense, we lost power for 2 weeks after a storm this year and I had my girls fed , warm and laughing around a camp fire every evening

Survival is good to know. Even when times arent bad but if they do go bad it is a bonus. I mean alot can help you if nothing more then the power is out for a week because of a storm or what ever. Doesnt have to be end of word apocalypses to help you. And alot can help even in normal lives.

Love Cody and what he’s doing. I met him in a bank in Prescott and he was barefoot. Genuine guy. I didn’t want to be that guy, but I asked for a picture because I looked up to him so much. He was gracious enough and I love that picture of us with his hand on my shoulder.

CODY is #1 in the self reliance/ survivalist Topic 100%. In my urban life I lived his lifestyle as best I could and anybody that knows me knows I would be ok if t all shut down

I miss cody doing dual survival SOO much.. It was literally one of the last shows we watched as a family. Why has no one given him a shot again? The ratings were MASSIVE. It was so massive from the beginning to keep like 3 iterations of dual survival going

It annoys me that people are still so focused on the whole “no shoes” thing. He’s explained it so many times, yet people are still confused.

Nice discussion. But I started learning this survival stuff as a child in Boy Scouts. Bushcraft skills are nothing new. I am 75.
