I've got one of those beam torque wrenches I inherited from my dad. One of the advantages it has over click wrenches is that, if you're tightening up a fastener and you notice that the needle deflection stops increasing, it gives you early warning that the thread may be about to strip.

@@luddite6239 and you see how much you've got to go before getting to the required torque, I loved watching it smoothly go from 0 to whatever so I could just creep up on the torque whilst also seeing how much the fastener rotated
