well cody's bracket demon is usually mang0 so idk. i think pretty much everyone has a bracket demon these days, for mang0 it's usually zain, for hbox its wizzrobe, for jmook its hbox. I think some are more dramatic than others, but pretty much everyone has someone they seriously struggle against, and in that same way, the players that can do more in that moment to beat their worst matchups tend to do better. If amsa started beating cody more he'd probably be number one, or in pretty closer contention to it. hbox took out cody's bracket demon this tournament, but mang0 took out cody in big house 10, so sometimes you luck out. the wins that i think really make up most of the difference is that direct awful matchup, and that's probably just gonna be the brakes of it at the end of the day. Amsa just needs to beat cody.

It sure would be nice if the Vods were uploaded instead of single matches. I got couldnt watch this live and got spoiled on who didn't make it to finals. Because I clicked on the playlist and the first video that plays is the last 26 minutes of the 3 day tournament. Also, so much character of this e-sports scene is lost with this format of archiving. You don't get the commentators thoughts on the match-up while the players warm up. You don't get any interactions after the set is over (unless it's Grand Finals). You don't hear any of the closing thoughts, or see any of the player interactions after the set is over. It's just the set sandwich without any of the condiments. My favorite moments in Melee are Waff / Toph just vibing on the couch with whatever player comes up to the microphone.
