Me and the hubs spent 2 weeks camping in Pike National Forest in a free dispersed spot and it was the best time we have ever had. We camped at 9k feet atop a mountain that was magical and soul cleansing. No joke. I hope you guys have the same kind of experience there! There is just something about the Rockies!!! :) Namaste'

Ooo, you found some beautiful camp spots! That's the kind of camping I love. I might have to start using my backpacking tent again. You guys are inspiring me. Since I'm traveling right now too, I am catching up on your vlogs and on a few of the last ones, I've had to pause the vlog to see if it was starting to rain on you, or on me! It was me each time. Such a nice break from 100 degrees! Can't wait to see your next camp.

Check out Vedawoo at the top of the pass above Laramie, Wy. Bonus points if you find the pyramid and the old military bunker. After passing through Laramie, turn south and head down to the Snowy range. You’ll find the most amazing disperses camping in the world there. In the winter, the snowies are completely closed to wheeled traffic due to such deep snow.

I too love camping out in a tent over any other type. It makes it real. I'm watching you KZbin show now. I've been camping for 44 years. Mostly in South Lake Tahoe. D L Bliss is the best. I've camped at Tahoe Valley but its too controlled and all campers to close together. Also camp at Ricardsons too crowed too. The biggest campgrounds is Dinner in upper Tahoe. There's the Truckyee River but very slow. I prefer the American River. Very strong and 7 hours. There's everything to do there. I camp in Big Bear. Its ok. I use to camp in the Angelous National forest at BuckHorn. The best and away from everyone 👍 also Charlton Flats and Chilao. I've camped a lot of other campgrounds in California. I love Pine trees. Also in central and northern California coast in the deep forests. Try it all sometime. I'm 73 now and Handicapped with arthritis of the spine so harder to get around. I bought a Pop up tent and shower now. Keep it up you guys 👍⛺🌄🗻🏊 ⛵

The reason your stuff freezes, is because 32° is the freezing point, so you might want to turn your refrigerator up a little. Most refrigerators are set at 42°, which is a safe temperature. Loved seeing Moosey again
@e.toujours2 жыл бұрын
I would respectfully disagree, especially if dairy or meat is involved. 36 to 39°f is considered proper temperature for food safety for refrigeration. Vegetables can be chilled at higher Temps though.

Hey I know this is an old video, but was wondering if you would take your current rig (the truck camper). On this trail at all and if not why? I’m from Australia and I am coming to the states to travel around for a couple of years and I don’t know what type of vehicle to get. Most of the videos I’ve seen with truck campers no one will take any back roads that seem to be easy. But I’m just don’t know what a truck camper is capable off. Also I have done a lot of 4x4 stuff here in Australia and I own a Toyota Landcruiser. I’m just not able to pick up what your cars are capable off. We have Rams here which really aren’t capable 4wd drive cars. So I’m trying to do my homework. Also by the way I love your rig, hikes and places you go now. Thanks for sharing.
@CodyandKellie Жыл бұрын
Not sure. Maybe portions of the trail but we’re taller now and might hit some trees also it was pretty tight in some corners. Good news now we don’t have to drive around all day looking for that perfect spot since we’re not in a tent anymore.
