The little plastic piece with the holes in the bottom is what’s called a lift piston. It’s used in mine effects. It pushes the stars out of the tube, and keeps the stars separate from the lift powder. If the stars get mixed in with the lift powder it can cause the tube to explode. It also helps keep the stars in a more uniform pattern when they come out of the tube.

Best video so far no screaming no yelling straight firework noises I turn my stereo up and it was like I was there awesome for next year maybe you should do a video where you cut some of the fireworks apart show what they look like on the inside and then show what they do after you light them. Good job.

I learn something new every time I watch your vids! EDIT: Nice show! A lot of howling I'll say. I do love howling. I hate screaming, but I love howling. But also not enough crackle. Crackle is my favorite effect and I don't recall seeing it a single time. Love every moment a slice went off. Always feels good when that happens. The more slices the better.

34:50 is likely a pass fire cap that is placed in a starmine. The lift charge burns through the holes and ignites the stars, then it bursts upward. That is at least what I think.

EPIC SHOW CODY!!! BETTER EVERY YEAR AND THIS ON WAS BEAUTIFUL! You have inspired me recently to get more into fireworks. I've been an electrician for 30 years and a DIY electronic hobbyist / enthusiast. I just built two 64 Channel Wireless firework launching systems controlled by a mobile phone graphical dashboard. One for me and my brother. Excited to put them through their Paces on New Year's Eve! I've always refused to pay these insane prices on fireworks at my local fireworks stores. Thankfully Sky King fireworks here locally has a lot of buy one get two or 70% off coupons which helps a lot. But I decided to look into wholesale fireworks online/ fireworks by the case and I am pissed at myself for not checking into this sooner! 😬 I'm not affiliated with or anything like that but fireworksplus has Super Cheap shipping rates! Only $85 if you order over 200, or completely free shipping if over $500! Great prices on cases or even singles for that matter!

Those plastic things you find all over the ground are to help shoot the stars out of those slices because unlike shells, they have nothing to push them out and the holes are too have better star ignition

Ah yes! Firework remains! I like to collect these loose parts after shows if I can find them of course. When I was younger I would collect rocket caps and tape them onto some toilet rolls and have some “pretend fireworks” is how I call them.

My brother when he used to help set off fireworks with a professional company I remember they did it by hand and I think that’s cool. They get it with a flare on a stick and just touch a quick fuse and off it went some orders they had to dig into the ground like your I guess 12 inch and 10 inch and stuff like that But a lot of it was in tubes and the frames, but it was so cool and they would string the finale together like you do, but when they set it off, they do it by hand then someone walked up the line while the finale was going, and if it would stop, he’d take his flare and start it again where it stoppedIt was quite dangerous, but you were fire gear and we are a protective helmet with a face shield he wore his fire helmet because he was in a fire department, but it was so cool. I forgot one thing when they used to send the shell up, they used to have a box about 12 feet away from the mortar and there’d be a person at the box would open up the box and the guy the shell he go drop another several boxes in a row and several people but anyway, they would hand them a shell they go drop it down the water pull the safetyoff the fuse and then send it up. It was so cool. I mean as soon as I have flare, he touched that flare. It was gone that quick.

Everytime I shoot noabs I get no reactions from the crowd...only 1/1 ...canisters and zippers
@CodyBPyrotechnics9 күн бұрын
@@drewjennings550the NOABs are mainly just to give people that classic “firework show feel” the old one at a time style (which I love)

@CodyBPyrotechnics I like them especially because of the symmetrical breaks but I can never get a crowd reaction from them...btw please do a video on the new venom shells by world class...the art work is sick! Haven't seen but a couple demos

Isn’t fireworks just wasting money because when u light it and go up then u lose that expensive money so I think it’s actually wasting
@CodyBPyrotechnics7 күн бұрын
Well if we look at it like that then technically buying anything but food & water is a waste because we can live without literally everything else. I just love fireworks so yes I spend a lot of money on them, in someone else eyes it may look like a waste but to me it’s well worth it!
