July 4 1974 in El Paso, Tx. my older brother Todd thought it would be neat to tie a fishing weight around a Silver Salute and drop it into our back yard neighbor's pool. Lit and dropped it in. Then it went off right in front of the pool light blowing the lens into pieces and ruining the fixture. Pool had to be drained dry for repairs to start. I will always remember that is the Big One. My father paid for all of it.

Cody, if you haven't tried this... you should light a pack of those 8,000 firecrackers in a metal trash can (ex: The 20 or 30 gallon stainless steel round trash cans you can get from Menards). Keep the lid off, drop the firecrackers in, ignite, and you will see that the sound is amazing and amplifies the loudness! Also less mess to clean up😄😃
