I've said before on other videos, Phantom has several really nice cakes that I love. I actually shot Fortress of Fire and Popo Magnet last 4th, and I thought they were both killer cakes - but are they worth the price - not at BOGO - I don't think, but if you hit them up when they are Buy 1 get 2 Free, that's not too bad. I don't like what Phantom represents, but I usually send family members there for Christmas and Birthday gift cards because there's one nearby - so that's usually what takes me in there. And they do carry Brothers and Winda products - which I love - so that's a plus.

Over here in England we can buy a compound cake with over 4,000 grams for less than one of those 36 shot cakes, a typical 36 shot cake over here is around £20 and the effects are often better.

the phantom near me always has buy one get two free all year, that makes cakes like this even better. Getting 3 for the price of one, or you can mix different cakes with the same price. So I love going to our phantom, I wish they did that everywhere else too, they would be a lot more popular, these cakes in the vid are some of their best. They have some others that are awesome too, I would definitely recommend some if you ever go back there!

The PoPo and Windup both start up slow but if you pair them up with a 200gram or two it is quite the excellent sight. Cody, have you done any videos on pairing fireworks? I got the idea from an article I read and it worked out great. A slow starter 500gram paired with a fast 200gram really brings it up a notch. Plus you can mess with combinations for months. Would make a great video. Love your channel. Always using it for reference when I go to purch. Thanks man!

If you are in the Chicago land area I recommend going over the border to Indiana instead because phantom is expensive and the Racine Phantom doesn’t have the greatest staff

@@godwell2513 actually I’m in the Twin Cities area. I found a good place to get near wholesale prices last June, but I was going to Phantom for years and finally did research and stopped overpaying. One problem with Indiana is the TAXES. I bought some at the South Bend Phantom years back while traveling to PA, and the taxes added enough to buy another 2 or more 500g cakes.

I think you are the first person I've seen to video those 2 assorted pack cakes. I'd never actually seen what they do. Better than I'd expected! And that Popo Magnet had pretty darn nice breaks for a 36 shotter- with all big break shells. A lot of 500g cakes with that count include stuff like whistlers, comets falling leaves, and other effects. All in all, really nice stuff! They have good taste in products. Too bad they know it- and charge accordingly... If you can meet the minimum purchase, and pick up yourself, you can buy just about everything they sell from BJ Alan by the case for a lot better prices. The kicker is, you have to GO to Youngstown Ohio and get it yourself- they don't ship. It's a strictly no-frills experience. I'd do it if I needed that kind of volume, but I don't. And I'd pass 2 of my other favorite wholesalers on the way there, lol
