I first heard this song sitting in federal prison, a year after losing 2 aunt's 3 weeks apart from cancer. Knowing that I didn't have enough time in life to keep making bad choices, I gave my soul to God and devoted my life to taking the chances and doing right by my family and myself. Im now enrolled in college and chasing my dreams and spending as much time as possible with family.

I lost my 28 year old son to a car accident last year. He was, and will always be, my baby boy. He was also my wild child. My prayer for him was "seek the Lord while He may be found. Call upon Him while he is near." A few months before my son died, he called upon Jesus and was made new. God is saying the same to all of us till we can't. I know I will see my baby boy again, with Jesus ❤

I heard this song for first time a little after losing my daddy this past September and I haven't made it through the song yet. Is truly a beautiful and more truthful than folks know. I had moved a couple hours away but came back because my daddy got sick. My dream came true, finally got it together to get that little place on the beach, my kids grown and happy and life was good. Two days later I got the call my daddy was sick. I moved back to help my mama care for him and got to spend almost 4 more years with him. No regrets, my family is mostly whole and safe, and I wouldn't take anything for that time. Heed those words, say your I love you's.

But when they played this song, it really spoke to me. I was glad that it wasn't another religious song like the others they would normally play. This song let me know that I needed to keep going and just make it through boot camp. And to never yield. And low and behold, I graduated with the title of a United States Marine.

Then lost my only brother and best friend, a year later. And just recently lost one of my other best friends/bros. I can tell you that Jesus is there at every turn. My loss does not compare, but loss all makes us feel the same and powerless!!! Faith in Christ empowers you with unshaken scientific evidence...Placebo effect proves faith can heal, Lazarus syndrome proves scientifically Jesus's Resurrection is not only possible but probable....Lastly the dinosaur deposits prove flood water along with other cultures having history of the flood. Do not be lead astray. Christ is real and God had mankind start time over in honor of his Only Begotten Son of God. In the year of the Lord Jesus Christ (2022), King of Kings and Lord of Lords!!! This is what real country music is about : it's true to life, heartfelt, and has a meaningful message. I like how he says that everyone should always appreciate family and make time for them while they are alive and around. Most of my family that cared about me and that I cared about are gone, so please, don't be self-involved and all about your own self-interests all the time and be there for your family members. There will come a day when you won't be able to. I appreciate ya, Cody Johnson.

One died from a heart attack and the two others died from cancer. This song really hit close to home since I only got to see them so much. In a period of 3 or so years between when I was 13-16 I lost 3 grandparents and a few aunts and uncles. Rough times all around. It's been a decently long time now so I can look back a little bit. What you're going through right now sucks, and a lot of kids your age aren't going to understand that pain for a long time (thankfully for them). I'm sorry you're going through it. But it'll be okay. Talk about them even if it hurts sometimes and remember how you were lucky to have a really great relationship with them. It won't take away the pain but it may help ease it a bit. Wishing you all the best in life and wishing you healing.

Sir, thank you for this beautiful and inspiring song. I lost my 13 year old brother suddenly at 18 & have been battling Multiple Sclerosis for over 20 years now. So for me this song has multiple meanings. After losing him I realized time is the most valuable thing we have to give & receive. Love & time. My MS forced me face that head on. Never knowing when I’d lose the ability to do things I cherish. I pushed through for over 15 years before it finally crashed down on me. Ironically I still took so many things for granted or even complained about. Work, university, errands, housework.. all the daily grind things. I now desperately wish I could them again. I got so caught up I don’t realize how blessed I was to be able to do it until my body made it impossible. I also was so focused on getting things done for fear of that crash that I lost the joy in it. I pushed myself so much out of fear that it became my focus. To succeed. Im grateful I still remained focused on family and spending time with them but I regret not fully living in the moment. I regret the priorities I set as degrees & career. They mean nothing now. Its those moments with my 5 other younger siblings and family that I cherish and only wish I had done more. I wish I could work but only to make enough to support myself. What I really wish is that I could do everything for myself again and be the one helping them, spending time together and making memories. So to anyone reading this. Remember running out of time does not just mean losing someone but it means losing your ability to be there as well. At least for me. Please take time no matter what for those you love, time - its the greatest gift there is. Time with those you love. Be well & many blessings

This song brings back of memories of my Mamma saying to me “love me, say you’re sorry, and live those dreams of yours while I’m still here so I can see it cuz I won’t always be here.” Mamma didn’t get to see that I was given an award from the Navy for designing one of their divisions a new logo. Was walked to the pier and was shown my art work on flags on six ships and I just fell to my knees and thanked her for her wisdom. Love you Mamma. I hope you’re proud of me from heaven ❤️❤️❤️

Sure, but I still have him to be there with, even if he can't hike or get in the canoe anymore. I still have my baby of a son to look forward to going out camping, hiking, hunting and fishing with. Just because my old man couldn't get out there with me so much doesn't mean he didn't love me and makes me make sure my son will have me out there with him. Don't be upset about the times you didn't get, be happy for the ones you did.

I’m one of the actors in the video. I don’t really dig Country Music either, but I listened to the song before accepting the gig and immediately said yes due to hearing a song that actually moved me (regardless of genre). This is definitely one of those songs. I’m happy to be part of the art created from it, as well. 🤗

Thank you Cody. This song is really special to me. I just turned 42 and it has been my anthem for stepping out of my comfort zone to pursue my dream of becoming an EMT. It also reminded me to slow down for my family. I was too busy and live far away from them. Your lyrics really resonated with my heart & reminded me to make this short ride count. I blasted this today as I drove home from being voted into my County EMA as Fire/EMS. ❤️

I just heard this song while shopping at a dollar general. I just had to look it up and share it. This song ministered to my spirit. And as a christian woman I gotta say, "If God be for you, who can be against you!?" I come against the spirit of self-defeat, in Jesus name amen

Lord The Almighty, please hear my prayer and give me Your words to encourage anyone who hears this. God is merciful. He always forgives. Never be ashamed to take your failures to Him. He is for you, not against you! God is with you in the storm. He knows your troubles; He hears you! He is always for you, on your side, always! It may feel as though God is silent at times, but He is holding you close! May the Lord return soon! We are drawing closer. He is coming! Believe and trust in the Lord, and you will be saved. May the Lord bless you all! Hang in there family. Stay strong. It is not easy following the Lord. We are scoffed at. We give up our earthly dreams, and our fleshly desires. What the enemy offers is short lived, but heavenis forever! Life may seem or be unfair, but God is with you! Always remember that. Things may get better or worse for you, but His Kingdom awaits for all who have faith and believe in His Living Words. Finish the race! Repent daily and carry your cross. This world is fading fast. Your troubles are temporary! Do not ever give up! God our Father, who created the Heavens and the Earth all all things, God the Son, our Savior, and God the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, loves you so much! So do I. May the Lord bless you and continue to keep you in His sight. Amen 🙏🏼✨✝️🕊🙌🏼🌈💜

I have loved so many of Cody Johnson's songs over the last several years and was so happy to see him finally get some recognition with a Grammy award for this song. "Til You Can't" brought me back to the past when I lost my mother when I was a teenager and my father when I was in my early 30s. It reminds me of all those lost opportunities for conversations that we could have had that might have helped me more easily have the closure that it has taken so many intervening years to finally get to...
