I’m going to be blunt... trading a car in for the same exact year model and car (or even a two year newer model) just for 0% is STUPID! I can’t understand how you guys rationalize a thought like this and think it’s a good idea. Even if your car does not have EVERY option you want and upgrading would allow you to pick up JUST THAT ONE MORE OPTION (magneride in this case), it’s still the most ignorant and financially irresponsible move to make with a car. Teflon; get off the internet and the forums and stop looking at your deal/payment/build compared to what everyone else is saying they got/like/want and build the car you have. Live within your means, save your money for car parts and buy when you can, not when you feel like it. I just picked up a 2020 401a car because of the 0%, but I have also went without a car (Accept for my XJ Cherokee that I daily drive) for three years, saving and waiting for the right time to get the exact car I wanted. Be smarter with your money guys.

People spend money on things they dont need just for fun . Getting a newer car and spending an extra $100 per month may sound foolish but most people spend more than that on Starbucks and eating food out . Some people party every weekend and that costs at minimum $100- 300 per week . Im sure there are things you pay for you dont need ( like the mustang you just bought ) , so who is to judge what is financially responsible ?

@@coderomes Also, get a PP2. I got mine 3 weeks ago and I love it. It is at the dealership as we speak, changing the stock Cup 2 tires for some PS4S. You have to do it, so take that into consideration when buying the car. Other than that, mine is loaded and I love it so far.

Just traded my 2017 Base car for a 2019 401A, took advantage of the 0% for 84 months. It was a no brainer. Payment only went up $32/m couldn’t pass it up. Side note: I work at a dealership as a finance manager. Depending on your equity situation a base car might not hold your negative equity. 401A PP1 cars from what I’ve seen retail around $35k depending on mileage and condition.

Yeah i traded my 2015 for $26000 that i paid $30000 for but got a brand new one for 37k ( full warranty and new improvements) and got 0% apr 84months . I took a $4k hit but lowed my rate from 4.1% to 0% . So it didn't cost me as much to go into a new car. I sold cars for 8 years and knew to jump on this deal . The active exhaust was worth it....

fyi; you have a trunk button above your license plate centered below the bumper. that way you don’t have to double back to the car just to open it.

When you consider the loss you’ll take in a trade in and the increase in price for a new one, you’re better off keeping your car for a longer time like 3/4 years then do a trade. You’ll get more value in that trade because you’ll have your car longer and the depreciation hit is reduced over time. The longer you keep it the lower the loss.is.
@JoeyB7364 жыл бұрын
The downside to the 0% is you don’t get the rebates with it
@BSchoon554 жыл бұрын
So the rebates from the manufacture are not eligible? You either take the rebates or the 0%? One or the other.... not both?
@CristianGarcia-qn4rt4 жыл бұрын
@@BSchoon55 correct. But if you don't qualify for the rebates, then the 0 percent is a way better deal. Only negative thing about going 0% is the price of the car would be 1,250 more
@josephshehan47634 жыл бұрын
0% vs taking a $4-6k loss on your car to trade it in.... I’d keep your car, it’ll cost you less in the end. Just get a GT350 and then I’d watch your channel. Also, used PP2’s fully loaded are $35k with less than 5k miles so no it’s not holding its value better

Bro I bought a basic 10 speed 2019 GT and am in the process of building it. The 0% does sound tempting to upgrade tho. The tires ther option is to refinance your current ride for a much sweeter APR but it definitely won’t be 0%. I’m looking into refinancing my ride rn
@coderomes4 жыл бұрын
LiftWithSahaj ya I’ve already refinanced it once! Thought about looking into it again to see if I could get it even lower

Also trade for a more unique car that will hold its value more like a GT 350. I’d wait and get a 2019/2020 GT 350 after it’s depreciated a bit. Like buy one for about $50k. You’ll get about $$25/30 for your car and you’ll only have to come up with about $20. That’s a better deal especially with a low mileage clean GT350.

A lot of people think this way lol but in reality if you’re gonna go the 0% route forget about all the rebates/incentives you were talking about, Ford will find a way to make their money regardless and by you trading in your vehicle you’ll just end up losing value since they will never be willing to pay the vehicle’s worth
