Jungkook spoke a foreign language for a whole minute in front of so many people and western artists. his self confidence keeps rising. he was nervous, but he did so well. And even if he couldn’t complete it a bit in the end he didn’t took it to heart and instead joked about it😭

In the butter performance, the wink was from Jin, not V. LOL Did you notice how the stage turned purple when RM said "Got Army right behind us when we say so"? In one of their interviews just before the show, Jhope said their performance will be "one for the books". Indeed, sweeping all three awards and being the FIRST Asian act to get Artist of the Year in an American Music Awards show, not to mention Suga speaking in Korean in the acceptance speech, is HISTORICAL.

The actual live performance sounded so much better, they tried to mute the audience here so they were actually much louder and because of that they kinda mixed their vocals strangely. I watched some fancams and they sounded so good there, not that this audio is bad, their live vocals were just better

Before everytime they go on stage to recieved and award nobody wants to make an acceptance speech and they would let RM do the talking but this time everyone litteraly wants to have a chance to speak jusk like Jkook said after Yoongi's short message he said "I am next". It really showed their confidence. So maybe the next chapter will be them all of seven making speeches. I really would love watch their SOFI concert specially the first day will they will welcome everyone and or the last day seeing give a 101% performance to everyone. Seeing a BTS live concert is a must on everyone's bucket list. By the way American award shows please take note if you want your audience to have a great time and enjoy the show just invite BTS and I guarantee that it will be party time young or old.

during commercial breaks,parent celebrities really took the opportunity to brought their kids to where bts seated just to had some pictures with them.one of them was shawn stockman of boyz2men.he is an army and her daughter too...i love watching those moments..bts became like santa claus during that award show.you can really see the happiness in those kids' eyes.

actually whole arena was like 99% armys, when bts arrived at the red carpet you could hear the loudest "BTS BTS" in the background even interviewers waiting for artists to approach were like "you hear that? I think bts just arrived" lol and btw actual fans and fan chants were much louder than what you can hear in these vids bc amas messed up the audio to make the crowd quieter

And all the articles. "Saying it was basically a BTS concert with some other artist winning some awards too" and "All the celebs lined up at every break to take photos with BTS". They've always had the crowd - even their US debut was jampacked. The fact they won artist of the year was incredible. Im glad they were not in a separate category for foreign artists they won and beat out some of the top acts in America its awesome. JK was so cute he doesn't talk much in awards shows so to see him here was fun , they had a great time. Plus to see them jamming to other acts especially new kids and new edition and giving them respect was amazing as well it was like the old quard passing the torch to the new generation . I loved it all.

So happy to see our boys perform live again.. Wish I was there to witness it live... They are just having fun and being themselves during the My Universe performance... I think, Coldplay could have confirmed late that they can perform during the show hence it's not as rehearsed as we expect it to be. I was actually looking forward to the dance break but still love there performance... It could have been the opening performance with all those pyrotechnic!!! So jealous of the audience who were able to touch the hands of JK!!! JK is really excited to perform and speak during acceptance of the awards!!!

What I really found amusing is that the amas turned from an award show to a BTS meet and greet for celebrities. Like really everyone was taking pictures with them and were looking forward to BTS performing. You could definitely tell that they really missed performing before the actual audience.
