I just recently discovered your messages, and they are so inspiring! Thank you for what you do. God is so amazing, I went through a season of my life where I struggled with lust. That part is a long story, but I came to the end of myself, and God restored my identity. I used to hate looking at myself or watching myself on camera. Recently, I recorded an interview sharing a part of my testimony, I was nervous to watch the interview for that reason of not wanting to see myself. Well, when I watched it back, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked myself. I saw the beaty that God created in me. A few weeks before I did that interview, my husband found the recording of our wedding and he put it on and we watched some of it, i seen myself and did not like what I seen in myself. After I watched my interview ( where I seen myself for what God created me to be) i realized in my wedding video that I watched, what I was seeing was Lust, I seen it in my mannerisms, that's what I didn't like. That is what fuels us to become something that God never intended for us to take on. We have to stop trying to fit a mold of what the world wants us to look like. And seek God's image. If you don't like what you're seeing in the mirror, I would challenge you to ask God what you are really seeing so he can reveal your true identity. Let's make it normal to like what we see, because it's something God create not something we are supposed to create or built onto. We should strip ourselves of this world so we can learn how to love ❤️

Went through Teen Challenge 10 years ago. I got a prayer language but never got Baptistism ( fire baptism …. empowerment). I pray and read Bible everyday but have never had a desire to go tell people about Jesus ( I don’t get , I understand everything you are saying and believe it but I don’t love people and still struggle with identity. Really need a breakthrough I’m still self centered and don’t feel love inside me…… makes me think I never got converted…. everyone says if I got prayer language I should have got empowered but I never got that born again experience like everyone else did when they got tongues. Please pray for me I want to know Hkmand love people but I don’t…. seems like it would come natural instead of having to force or fake it but that’s not the case for some reason.

Read what the definition of love is in the Bible 1 Corinthians 4-7. This has helped me. Love is an action rather than a feeling. It’s how you treat others. Not some temporary euphoria or butterflies in your belly. Love is obedience to the word of God. Jesus says that we don’t actually love him if we are not obedient to him despite any loving feelings we think we have inside for him. Therefore it’s an action. Discipline. You may not “have a a desire” to share the gospel but the Lord expects us to. We must die to our flesh. You are not alone brother. We cannot walk this journey based off of our feelings.

If you want God, then just pursue Jesus, ask Him to come into your heart and your life. He paid a price for you, Satan has no grip over you if Jesus is in your life. If you have Jesus, and the enemy is trying to make you think he still has you it’s a flat out lie. Because who the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).
