Good morning Kim, I think you should still post that video of Jake riding Spike just because of people who don't watch Jake or Dan's channel. I subscribe to all of you. I remember the first time Lester was able to get Jake on one of his horses I think it was Voodoo. He was terrified. I think people need to see that Jake did absolutely wonderful for overcoming his fear. Horse people need to take out speaking about their expertise and just watch a terrified young man that has overcome his fear. You have to take small steps. Spike also did great!

My opinion Jake is doing great especially being a few years ago he was very leery of horses and never ridden before. Are there things I see that he could do different, yes, but nothing that is hurting the horses at all. I think both horses are well trained and may just need a "refresher" on minor things. Plus, every rider may give slightly different cues, the horse will adjust once he figures out yours and you figure out what works best for him (bridal, hack, or halter).

Jake is a very sweet young guy just learning about life. I love how he’s so willing to help anyone that comes a long especially his family and the laugh he has! Too funny! He’ll learn how to conquer riding as he has his Dad & his aunt to teach him. We all need to extend some grace to anyone learning something new. I make me a pot of coffee and drink hot coffee all morning till lunch time. I've never had a iced coffee. At lunch I make my glass of sweet tea, using splenda or equal. I drink it all day until I go to bed. Kim I thought Jake did a great job riding Spike. I'm not a horse person but of course he will learn as he goes. I have only been on long rides with my uncles living in Montana two different ranches. I had the best time of my life. Jake loves riding. Now he's going to get lessons from Courtney Jami and Lester's farrier. That will bevgreat. Thankyou for sharing your big boy Spike. I can't wait for you to ride him.😊❤❤❤

Jake, we have this issue with these big crows here in Virginia where I live too and ever since they showed up I haven't spotted any of our other birds which have always been so many in numbers here in the mountains. I am terrified with these crows and wish they would return to their own space so we would see the beautiful robins and the rest of our native bird species.

Good morning Kim! I think it's wonderful that Jake is getting past his fear of horses. They are like overindulgent puppies and so very good for the soul. I'm also really glad he's hooking up with Twisted Teer to get a few lessons and learn some basics. They will steer him in the right direction and set him up for success. They can also set him up with a horses when he's ready since they are a rescue. The daily care he can learn from Bri, you and the rest of the family. For safety reasons, it is important to learn the rights and wings of what to do around and in horses and with so much support around him, there's no doubt he will have the knowledge in no time.

Norma here. Your iced coffee looked delicious, but I need hot coffee in the morning. Spike did fantastic with Jake. I know you were relieved to see how calm and gentle he was having Jake on his back. Jake overcoming his fear of horses and Spike accepting him was awesome. Jake himself admits that he doesn’t really know how to ride a horse. He’ll learn with experience. Plus, he has great teachers in you and Dan who grew up riding horses from very young ages. He also has Paw Paw and his mom. He even reached out to Courtney for riding lessons. Don’t the viewers understand that this is all new to Jake. Even Paw Paw said that every rider is different. Instead of criticizing him, people should be encouraging him. Glad you called them out.

Kim, Horse people are the harshest critics and they can be mean. Jami and Lester, had to deal with them especially when they got Rita. You have to just let them talk. You have had horses and been riding horses your entire life. The Morrow's would never do anything to intentionally harm an animal. Jake is doing just fine.
