This Coffee and Tea Fusion recipe combines the best of both worlds, creating a unique drink with the boldness of coffee and the richness of tea. The honey and lemon add a delightful sweetness and tang, while a pinch of salt smooths out the coffee's bitterness. Enjoy this harmonious blend for a refreshing and energising experience.
Ingredients:
2 tsp ground coffee
1 tsp black loose-leaf tea
200ml (6 and 2/3 fl oz) water
A pinch of salt
A lemon slice
Honey to taste
Method:
1.Place coffee and a pinch of salt in a cezve or coffee pot. Toast the mixture over the heat.
2.Boil 100ml of water and slowly pour it into the cezve or coffee pot with the coffee and salt.
3.Bring to a boil, then remove from heat. After 30-40 seconds, return to heat and bring to a boil again.
4.In a separate cup, brew tea with 100ml of boiling water and let it steep for 5-7 minutes.
5.Dissolve honey in the hot tea, stirring thoroughly.
6.Mix the tea and coffee in equal parts in a serving mug.
7.Add a slice of lemon to the finished drink.
