Most light fixtures come with the ability to shorten the cord. That is, you should be able to wire the light and stuff the excess cord into the hole in the ceiling before putting the plate on. Of course, if yours doesn't, then I agree with others that you can cut the cord and strip the wires back. But, draping it works too!

Do you know you can use vinyl cabinet liners to cover your countertops.. it’s life changing! For under $40 you can have a faux marble or granite looking counter tops :)

It looks so good. My favorite part is the cart especially the storage area for your mugs. I enjoy my coffee bar very much but it is not nearly as stylish as yours. Great job.

I will sugest something if you dont mind,about the clock: will be nice to painted Cooper colour on the outside and the numbers inside if you can open it up(since you have the garbage bin or recycling bin the same colour plus some stuff on the shelf as well.I think it will look more nicer then a white clock. You could totally paint your cabinets and do concrete counters! Check Pinterest for a tutorial on how to feather coat your existing counters with concrete. I did it to mine and love it!

Love the coffee bar setup. Wish I had room in my house to do one, instead of taking up counter space. One thing I did want to point out, that you might not have thought about, is that your cart is covering up the floor vent. May not be a good idea for air circulation.

Are you worried about the placement of the vent? May get a bit hot in the winter with the heat and it probably doesn't do you any favours with circulating the AC

Great effort! I can't help but be concerned about placing coffee mugs over a heating duct in a wire cabinet due to the dust that will blow up and into the mugs causing the need for constant washing before use. Sorry to seem critical.;0)
