Honestly if you want to become a channel where you record yourself making tea, doing some crafts, discuss the crafts you really enjoy and barely much of anything else I would totally vibe with that. If you want to have instead of weekly vlogs you do monthly vlogs where you only share special days or something exciting that happened in your month that's cool too. AND IF YOU WANT TO BE A HOME CHANNEL GIRL I AM HERE FOR IT! I WILL WATCH YOUR VIDEOS AS LONG AS YOU ARE HAPPY MAKING THEM!!!! Your personality always make me smile, you truly are an amazing person, and I am so sorry all of that was happening to you. If at some point you ever want to step away from youtube too, that's ok hun. I'll look forward to whatever content you create.

Is there not a gap for sustainable content? I think as well as you getting older/growing up so will your audience have. So we aren’t necessarily looking for fast fashion but maybe wanting to see how the more sustainable brands measure up. Not on my sustainable fashion but homeware and skin care/make up etc. Doesn’t have to be the expensive designer eco fashion but smaller brands or lesser known brands. I’m not sure how the market works for youtubers and how brands reach out to them to market their brands but could you/management reach out and try these more eco brands.

I want to start this absolute essay by thanking you for the midsize body videos, in a time when the topic was pretty non-existent. I can't believe how the respect for my body and ideology around clothes sizes has changed, for the better, because of you. Although I'll miss these videos massively (no one can do them quite like you and i'll be forever grateful that you never tumbled down those stairs lmao) I completely respect your reasoning behind not wanting to continue them and I'm sending so many positive vibes your way for your future on KZbin - however long you want it to be. I would also like to put my 2p in on the video suggestions - any vintage/charity shop hauls, random house content, crafts, average girl makeup reviews, coffee breaks. I understand you wanted your business to be separate but I would LOVE to hear more about it e.g the process, the inspo behind your ideas etc. Any HARDCORE Lucy Wood fans are here for your cracking personality, like a bezzie mate who makes you absolutely howl with laughter (and flo obviously). So thanks for being you and thank you for ANY content you give us x

I've been following you for about 4/5 years now and I've enjoyed your content so much over the years, whether you're vlogging with Flo and Adam, talking about your favourite books, crafting, or talking about cute vases for your pampas grass! 😆 I've followed you for this long and enjoyed your videos for YOU, your personality and sense of humour has always been the key element of your videos and that's what made me stick around. Whether you're trying on pairs of jeans and cracking jokes or having a coffee with Flo during an existential crisis 😅 (we've all been there😂), you're just you, and I can guarantee that's what your subscribers just want to see. I personally love all the different things you've covered and done on your channel over the years, and I think it's nicely portrayed what you've been interested in at that particular time, if that makes sense, and I love that! Just film what you feel comfortable filming, maybe share what you're currently enjoying (I'm loving the crafty content and I love any good book related content!😅) and I can guarantee people will stick around, because we love seeing you happy and thriving. I hope this has all made sense😅 I always enjoy your content regardless of what you want to film, so just keep doing you. And good luck with your online shop!! I'm buzzing for you pal! 💖💖

Perhaps you could make some videos documenting your journey in starting your little online shop! I don't know about anyone else but I think it'd be really interesting to see what you're up to when you're creating designs and how you went about finding manufacturers and stuff. Not many people, if any, have documented the process of starting a business from literal scratch like you could? It would be especially interesting/inspiring coming from an #averagegirl from the UK like yourself!

It’s just nice to hear from you and chat Lucy! Don’t overthink it (literally impossible I know) It would be such a shame to see you go, and every business changes and adapts to the owners lifestyle and needs. I totally sympathise with how you must have felt with the rise of your fashion videos, being a midsize gal with a history of lovely body issues myself! I absolutely loved those videos, but would definitely be feeling the same way if I was in your shoes, it can’t be easy at all. Personally I’d love to see more videos about your creative/artistic process! Like a day in the life of a small business owner, things you’ve learnt, follow you for a day of packaging and sorting etc! Also more bookish stuff would be great too! I think favourites videos are also super nice, I kind of miss those old school cosy videos, and still encourages loving the stuff you already own. Anyway just some ideas to help you maybe fill the void! Either way it’s nice to have a chat and a coffee even if you don’t feel like making larger scale videos, your personality and humour always shines through in even the smaller videos 💕

Lucy I love your content and quirky humour. I first started watching for the fashion try on videos. These videos were a breath of fresh air. They opened up my eyes to new brands that I would have previously avoided due to the fear a try on would make me feel crap. I have loved how your videos have progressed to the house stuff. In the past year I bought a house and have been doing a full renovation 😅 not for the faint hearted but soo much fun to be able to express myself. Gold dust road - love this and would like to see more of the behind the scenes/ thought process. I have my order 1517 arriving soon☺️. Covid - I feel that covid has made us all reflect on life and what we really enjoy. If it has taught us anything it would be do more of what makes you happy. I will miss the try on videos but happiness is more important. Side note your hair is looking amazing. I just got mine all cut off 😳 working from home stress lol and a life review 🙈

I first found you through one of your Average Girl tries- series, where you would try the same size across different shops. This was in the middle of last year. I loved the content, but was so excited to see that you did other things - homeware vlogs, holiday vlogs, chatty vlogs. But the reason I’ve stayed is for your personality, Lucy! You’re so kind and relatable, and whatever content you put out, I’m happy to see - and if I’m not interested on one particular video one day, it’s okay! You’ve not lost me as a fan, and I’ll still be here! You can’t please everyone all the time, but me and all of your fans love watching your channel for YOU. I’ve watched KZbin for years now and never commented on a single video. But just want to say I’m normally a size 12 (currently a 14 after popping a baba out) and watching your videos when I was struggling with body in my early 20’s massively helped me out with accepting that I’m not going to look like an ASOS model in clothing but am I happy and do I like the clothes? Hell yes so I’m wearing them! Not doing them because you’re not comfortable is Good too, in fact I hadn’t even realised because I literally just enjoy watching what feels like a normal person living her normal life not putting glitter on everything. Life can be rubbish sometimes and It can also be amazing, I think you portray that really well! Keep doing what makes you happy! Ps. Your hair looks fab!!

The reason your channel is popular is because of you. You are one of the most relatable youtubers out there. I love your content even more so since you moved into your house. It’s always really fun viewing when you and Adam are on screen together 😊 and Florence too of course. Maybe you could recommend a book for us all to read together then do a q&a. A monthly cuppa & a catch-up answering some questions your subscribers send in. How to keep your wardrobe sustainable, investment pieces etc. More home vlogs with diy. Anyway whatever you choose to film you know we will love it regardless xjx

Lucy just do what inspires you and what feels good to film! I really enjoy your videos and yes, I was one that came through the video but I think you are right about not wanting to reinforce fast fashion and just the big companies. I really appreciate you looking for sustainable ways and sources for your new project!

I definitely followed you from your mid size videos because I’m also mid sized and loved seeing content that’s more relatable for me! BUT, I love watching your videos because of you. I’ll keep watching whatever you do with it💓

I found you via your fashion videos but I absolutely have stayed and watched everything you put out mainly bc of your personality and also your home decor - your house is goals! Would love to see more of that.

I came for the clothes (and being a fellow North wester who moved to london) and stayed because you feel like a friend that I need all the gossip and recommendations from! Don't think I could ever stop watching no matter what the videos end up being :)

Fantastic Lucy - sharing your choices and your underlying ethics and drivers that have sometimes caused some dissonance was really fascinating. You say you don’t know what you’re doing but to me it seems like you are being thoughtful and self aware about your choices even if aren’t always sure about the destination. Love that creativity has been such a source of support and inspiration for you. You’re lovely xxx

I loved this! I watch KZbin to relax so love this chilled type video. Would be great if you could share your crafts and just at home life vlogs and coffee chats. Lucy’s crafty life?!😂💓

Girl i came for the body positivity but stayed for the funny honesty. I also love the home bits and creative things.

It’s so nice and refreshing to hear you talk about this so candidly! Maybe it’s cause I too am getting older, but I truly love the home content and when you started making the switch with moving vlogs and whatnot came as we came up on our one year of owning our home and felt like KZbinrs with home content helped me be more inspired to start tackling little home things! 💕 Also: we started our bathroom reno because we had a leak and had to gut it 🥴

I may have come here to watch you try on clothes, but I stayed because your personality is so unique and enjoyable and I watch all your content even if it's not the kind of content I normally consume! You do you and we're here for it 🥰

I found your channel through your fashion videos, even though I had never watched fashion videos or fashion brand reviews before. Something about YOU made me click (or maybe it was the rainbow Lucy & Yak pants idk), and you are the reason I stayed. I love your personality and will probably watch your content regardless of what you post. Do what you love, we'll all be here.

Love having a coffee bteak with you Lucy. Such a great idea. I've followed you for a couple of years, and was inspired and empowered by your midsized fashion videos, but genuinely, I've stuck around for your personality, because regardless of what your content is, I always really enjoy your videos. You're smashing, just as you are! 😍😘💕

hi idk if you'll see this but i just wanna say i remember your lil videos when you had 20,000 subscribers, and you've given me so much confidence. ive been a size 12-14 for a few years now and ive always felt insecure and embarrassed as most of my friends have been size 6-10s. you gave me confidence by 'raising awareness'??? of mid size bodies and i could never thank you enough for that. whatever you decide to do with this channel and in the future i will be here to support you! ily💗💗💗

I love your channel now just the way it is - little house vlogs and crafty bits and chats - it’s great! At the end of the day - just do what makes you happy and listen to your gut - if it’s not right for you and it’s making you stressed or it’s just too much then it’s not worth making yourself feel bad for a bunch of people on the internet!❤️

I loved your fashion videos and am really enjoying your transition into home design. As long as you do what you enjoy, I'm pretty sure we'll enjoy your content! Your body confidence has also made me reflect and start to feel more positive myself so please keep on going and doing you!

Yay a Lucy video ☺ Thanks for the update, was wondering about you and Adam. I bought Midnight Sun last weekend and finished it this past weekend. I enjoyed it; Stephanie had a partial version on her website that I read back during the originals and was hoping she would finish it. I think you'll like hearing Edward's side. Enjoy!

I'm probably repeating what everyone else is saying, but I'll always watch your videos for you. Whether it's just a coffee catch up, or some fancy sponsored video. I've been a (mostly) silent viewer for years and even if you end up uploading once a month, as long as you're happy in your career, we'll all still be here. You do you! And I'm so excited for you for the store, it looks incredible! 💛💛 PS: Midnight Sun is trashy perfection!

Super proud of you and your new venture 👍🏾👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Have watched you for over a year now and have loved all your content and your genuine personality. I am glad you feel better about what you do. I definitely don’t buy clothes like I used to so not at all bothered that you don’t do clothing hauls anymore. You are amazing 😉

I am very happy to have you back here and to see you are doing whatever makes you happy. It is no fun watching anyone who is not in a good headspace and doing something that is not helping to make it better. If blabbing to the camera works for you I am here for it. I learned about you through the fashion video's, stuck around for your personality! I am exited for whatever your next adventure is going to be. Even if it is crafts and paint!

Thank you for all the fashion videos - you're one of the people who taught me to feel better about my size. It's completely fine that you've grown out of them and you've switched to different content. Anyway, you're such a lovely person that we'll watch whatever you make :D Keep up the good work girl

Honestly, I subscribed because I love YOU Lucy! Your personality, humour and creativity! As a midsize 12/14 gal I enjoyed your midsize fashion vids but to be honest as I’m now saving for my first home your home content is definitely my fave! Honestly you could just upload these chatty vids and I’d subscribe because I find you such a joy to sit and listen to! Just do what makes you happy!! Thank you for being such a normal and relatable KZbinr who is so considerate to her audience!! Ps. Your hair is absolute goals in this vid!! Xx

I'm here for whatever content you post Lucy 😄 I did come for the clothes content, and you came around in a time for me when I was really uncomfortable in my body and you've helped me feel so much better about the way I look! So I'm grateful for whatever content like that you put out 😊 But I'm still watching whatever you do now

I redid my shower room last year. Pinterest is a good place to start. It’s good not just for the more fun decor aspects but also can be helpful for layout e.g. I have a narrow shower room so it was helpful to see examples of that.
