Your hair looks absolutely amazing! It is definitely the perfect time for working on comfort projects. I am working on a cozy fantasy about a witch, a ghost, and an ancient magic and it's been so perfect for this time of year!

I’m sorry it always takes me so long to comment! I’m so glad your wrist/arm has healed. You must be so relieved! You were so busy! I loved BELLADONNA (one of my favorite series). I’m so glad you read it! I’m hyped for every new project you have! You know me! Grandma cozy fantasy sounds so fun! I have a soft spot in my heart for PROJECT PYRO and can’t wait until you need beta readers for that because 👀👀 I need to get back into coloring! I have a wildlife coloring book and some really nice (read: fancy) colored pencils. I haven’t colored in so long, but you’re making me reconsider when you showed us yours. I cackled at “I’ve got the Capricorn urge” as a fellow Capricorn (our birthdays are 4 days apart, mine’s on Christmas Day!) That was relatable! 😂 Thank you for all you do making a difference with your words for disabled kids and teens everywhere. Trust me, it matters! 🥰

Hey Lindsay! I read The Odds a few weeks ago and absolutely devoured it. It’s only October but it’s already earned a spot as a top ten read this year for me! I’m trying to get into more middle grade books, especially ones that have the same cute and spooky vibes as your first two. Do you have any recommendations?

Your place looks amazing, the color behind your mirror is gorgeous. I've fallen back into crochet-ing and have been watching Agatha All Along, which has some spooky vibes I think you'd like. You always inspire me to keep writing, I'd love to hear more on how thorough you are in your drafting process for each version as I'm learning so much.

Loved the update! I cannot wait for your YA era (if/when you feel like picking it back up)! And……not going to lie…. I am hoping for the zany grandma story in the future (and all your other ideas😊). Also glad that the break is healed and wishing you an as quick as possible recovery from your sprain!

How I ran here 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️ good to see you, Lindsay! Glad to hear you are healing and getting cozy in your new place. I'm super excited for Bitter Bones and your YA, too, maybe even for the grandma one 😄 🧙🏻♀️I'm in a similar boat for the rest of the year - finishing a draft, only for me it's my very first one. 30k in and counting. Let's do it! #wedonttalkaboutwrimo

Ooo, Curious question: Also, Hi, Lindsay lol So, with Trad Pub, they let you have CPs and more specifically Betas read an unpublished draft? In my mind, I assumed no copy of the story was allowed to be seen other than by the Trad house. Cause, that's really cool you can still get beta type feedback during drafting/editing phase in Trad.
@LindsayPuckett4 ай бұрын
Yep! :) most trad pub authors I know have tons of CPs and betas, some who read even before their editors do!
@CoffeeReadingWriting4 ай бұрын
@@LindsayPuckettThats awesome. That’s actually really great to know. It’s so helpful for writers to get that type of feedback along the process. 👏🏽
