Hi Karen, I hope you are feeling better! If you can, a spiral binding on your book would be great. The baby blanket is beautiful! I'm working on your Pink Icing shawl and am loving the pattern.

Coincidentally, yesterday I was just thinking about how long I've been knitting and crocheting. My mom taught me to knit 64 years ago! I taught myself how to crochet 54 years ago! Holy cow, that's crazy talk. LOL! And I will admit that I tried to learn to crochet from a booklet that I still have, but apparently I wasn't understanding the directions very well. I was made aware of that when one of the nuns in my high school looked at my work and said that wasn't quite the way she learned. Oops!

It’s crazy when you think how long it’s been. I can’t believe I’m hitting the 50 year mark soon! I love that you had nuns at school that crocheted. I did too! In fact in grammar school we had elective classes in 6-8th grade and one semester I took crochet. I ended up teaching that class! One of my friends reminded me of that!
