Coffee Filter Paintings

These aren't real paintings, but they look like paintings when they're dry! This project helps to explain symmetry. By drawing on a coffee filter and then lightly spraying it with water, we can see how colors blend into each other and also transfer onto other parts of the filter. This video also shows you how to make a butterfly out of two coffee filters, and how to make a cool suncatcher when you're all finished. Geared towards little ones in primary/kindergarten.
