Hello friends
Today i an sharing very easy Coffee Marble Cake recipe. It is very easy to make and is very beautiful. This cake needs very few ingredients and comes out so spongy and fluffy. Do try this easy and interesting recipe and give your feedback below.

Caketin used is of 6" diameter
Measuring cup used is of 200 ml capacity
Maida or refined flour- 1 cup
Powdered sugar- 1/2 cup
Refined oil- 1/4 cup
Milk- 1/2 cup and 2 tsp
Coffee powder- 2 tsp
Vanilla essence- few drops
Baking powder- 1 and 1/4 tsp

I baked this cake today and it came out well and was pretty delicious. Although, since noone responded to my query, I solved it all by myself. If like me due to lockdown you can't get hold of baking powder, and have baking soda, The general equation that works is baking soda is 4x stronger than baking powder so 1tsp baking powder is equivalent to 1/4 tsp baking soda +1/2 tsp vinegar (Baking soda needs acid to act) Use this equation to manage for the substitutes and the cake will be soft and fluffy as per desired. Stay home, stay safe

@JN Lalchandani well there are separate recipes of cakes with wheat flour, it would be a much better option to follow them instead of trying it out on this one. However , if you still feel so, you can always try but the basic rule is the batter should be perfect. Neither too flowy nor too thick. I haven't tried this recipe with wheat flour so I cant really advocate the experience. Happy baking!
