This is the song that's famous from Indonesia with it unique music genre which we called it keroncong and if I'm not mistaken was composed in the early 80'S at those eras we consider it as one of folks lore song..however I'd praise for them Cos they've initially done these traditional music cover plausibly.anyway thank for the positive reaction though.

"Jali Jali" is a traditional Betawi folk song from Batavia (Jakarta). The word "Jali" or "Jali-jali" or "Enjelai" or "Jelai" ("Coix lacryma-jobi) is the Indonesian name for a type of tropical cereal plant from the rice family or Poaceae. The word "Jali" is a Betawi vocabulary which means "clean" or "neat". Consuming Jali regularly can increase energy/stamina in the body because Jali contains carbohydrates that will be broken down into glucose before entering the bloodstream. Glucose that is absorbed by body cells will be processed into a source of energy. Usually jali-jali is processed into porridge, pudding or drinks. In general, the lyrics of the song "Jali-Jali" are about life and the state of nature in Betawi (Jakarta). The song, which was created and popularized by the late M. Sagi - a leader of the M. Sagi keroncong orchestra - in 1942, means to comfort a heart that is sad or grieving. So in each verse, the first line and the second is just a sampiran, while the third and fourth lines are the message to be conveyed. Keroncong is a fusion of Western and Eastern music that occurred in Indonesia during the colonial era, brought by the Portuguese to Indonesia around 1661 by traders and sailors who used stringed musical instruments, flutes and vocals.
