I actually laughed with you the whole time when you were scream-laughing in the ghost part. It was just such a contagious laugh of joy, excitement and panic. Btw for the next friendzone, can you please keep the camera on the players while playing the games? Its just a lot more fun to see all those intense game faces.

capturing monsters in monster hunter is actually really easy once you know what to do. just fight the monster like you normally do, but when it starts limping let it flee to its sleeping place and once its sleeping sneak up to it, place the trap next to it, let it activate and throw your tranq bombs

Just a tip, if you are trying to make weapons and armor and stuffs capturing is superior to killing as you get more / better items from the monster. and you should definitely upload you playing it solo

You said you think you need to capture Lagiacrus. IIRC you don't. To continue the village quests you need to go under the waterfall in the farm area of the village to get the ancient mask and/ or complete the village request that the elder's son will have for you to make that mask. Which will unlock the next story quest.

capture missions are actually easier than straight up killing capture requires you to smack the monster til it limps, set a shock trap or pitfall trap, once it falls into the trap you throw 2-3 tranq bombs at it and it;s quest complete Trust me when i say capture is easier, because in G rank you will need to fight 2 Brachydios, and if you try to kill them both, you will more often than not, run out of time
