My heart goes out to pockets parents for having to make such hard decision I’m doing what was really best for her. It can’t be easy waking up every day knowing that she’s not there after after 18 years of her being a family member member. I really really hope they know what home she’s at now with her just as much and give her everything she needs and deserves. ❤ the best thing is the family gets to see pocket on these videos all the time to see her thriving in such a wonderful environment

My son suffers from an autoimmune disorder as well, and the good days are so good, and the bad ones are terrible. I hope that Brooke can find some relief. You definitely have great resources and people in your little Cog Hill world! That Pocket is so adorable . Brooke was so sweet in her last videos with her excitement & joy over the new Silky baby chicks ! I have told many people that I truly think that Silkies believe GOD put them on this earth to hatch & take care of their babies as well as everyone else's ! We have had far better success with them ( especially the black ones for some reason ) than any other breed . Last year we had one that ended up setting on 14 eggs !!!!! She was spread out on the ground like a fuzzy pancake 🥰 The big breed hens would come along & lay their eggs on the ground right beside her & she would scoop them right up under her ! It was so hilarious .

Hopefully the cold doesn't 🥶 make down to ya all, but within 2 days after the fog, we got the snow. 57°F to 28°F ! It's a cold 🥶 front for sure. Pickup your hoses and etc. I.E. cover those needed plants ! Just in case the wacky catches you off guard.

Best advice I ever received concerning my German Shepherd puppy was to play with her feet and ears alot when she was a puppy. While watching tv I would get the clippers out and click them around her feet while touching her nails and played with her feet and ears all the time. She is 4 years old and she doesn't have to be restrained now to cut her nails or clean her ears. Thought I would share because I have a 20 pound little dog that has to be restrained sometimes with 2 people to do nails and ears.

Kudos to Pocket's original owners and all the work they put into training her, the farriers and vets appreciate it too. Wish other channels would put more effort into training. I was a vet tech, professional groomer and breeder owner of show dogs and I can tell you it makes all the difference in the world when working on an animal that has been trained to stand/stay for any type of work. It is the owner's responsibility to set the groundwork (thank you), so it is easier for the professionals to work with the animal(s) when the time comes.

WOW! Pocket isn't fazed by much is she. What a good girl she is. I love how Peaches went and smelled her legs and feet to see who did her pedicure. Peaches has her back. Looks like she approved and Pocket didn't even flinch when she did it. They appear to be getting along well. Your garden looks very nice. Hope Brooke finds relief. I never go to the doctor about my pain. I just take a couple Tylenol as needed with Aleve and rest when I need to and carry on. I just don't trust what all the drugs do to me.
