1 - The lid of the cooler can be filled with water and frozen. Multiple coolers means you can switch out the lids. Use 2 racks to cover the bottom. 2 - Use a solar fan to keep the farm stand cooler. Like the small ones used for attic ventilation. I have one for my 8x8 storage shed. 3 - Indiana here - Love your videos, they're part of my daily routine. 😁

Jason, we have paid $7.00 for a dozen of store eggs here in California. So we now go to the egg farm and it’s $8.00 for 20 super large double yoked eggs. It’s a bit of a drive but it’s worth it. ❤

Hi from Illinois. Jason, just a suggestion for the cooler. There is a dot on the inside of the lid. Take off lid. Pry off little dot and fill with water ( not totally full ) Put back little dot and freeze. This will keep the cooler cold. There are videos on KZbin.

Our neighbor sells eggs. He uses a.flag system. Green flag up for eggs available and the customer that takes the last dozen raises the red flag. Been working great for years. It prevents us from stopping.only to find he is sold out. He restocks early every morning. $5 a.dozen in Georgia.

If you want to take extra precaution on the egg cartons wrap the ice pack with a tea towel. Especially the bottom one. It also will make the ice pack last a little longer

I pay over 6 dollars for store bought free range chicken eggs....because I cannot find them locally. They come from a cooperative of small farmsteads. This is the best I can do under the circumstances.

@COG HILL - In Oregon, the Cooperative Extension from OSU told me you need 1 ACRE of GOOD grass PER MONTH for ONE COW/calf pair. That's with NO supplemental hay in the summer. Don't know if it would be the same in Alabama. Think you better ASK locally BEFORE you get any more cattle!

Put a cookie sheet over top of the rack that way you can put more cartons inside the cooler. And the solid surface would ensure your cartons don’t get wet

Jason and Brooke - I would like to suggest that you put the "Eggs in Cooler" sign on the front of the stand right under your "Farm Fresh Eggs" sign with an arrow pointing up....I am concerned people will not see the sign on the counter from their car, and will think you have no eggs. (Especially since they see no cooler or fridge.) I also recommend that you put the basket for empty cartons on the counter right next to the cooler so it is more visible and the task is connected to getting the fresh eggs. Keep an empty carton propped up in there so it is easily visible and customers will know what to do. (Like restaurants/bar and street musicians "seed" their tip jar with a dollar bill.) You can move your honey more to the left. You may need to make an additional stand for your flowers and vegetables! What a wonderful problem to have!

Jason, when you built that stand, I suggested you put foam board insulation under the tin to keep it cooler. I have done this on my rabbit pens and it keeps them a lot cooler. That tin is a cooker otherwise. Try it, you'll like it😊

Eggs here in Kansas are $6 to $8 a dozen, depending on whether they are store brand or name brand and what store you buy them from. You could just put a sign on the wall behind the cooler for the egg carton return. That way your fresh veggie area will still be open for when the veggies you sell are ready to be harvested.

I put an ice pack on the bottom of my lunch box. I put a towel on top of the ice and then my lunch. The towel keeps my food from freezing. Love y'all and your positive give it a try attitude.
