I have no words to describe what I initially witnessed and have no words to commend what I saw afterwards. I love how Bishop stood beside him and protected him from OPINIONS as he spoke. This kind of public humiliation was wrong, but sometimes we are wronged by small men to be honored by great men.

@@susananderson2158, Speaking from personal experience is the reason I guess I am so passionate about this matter and commenting a lot. My dad was a pastor, in COGIC, and there was a Missionary who got upset, held a grudge, but later asked my dad to forgive her. However, when she told her family about it, she did not tell them she was on good terms again with her pastor before she died. They came to the funeral to start mess. We nip that before they came in the door, but one always got to do the most, by walking to view her sister and looking up at my dad while he was preaching, and walking out. Nobody else in the family walked with her. She did foolishly and I am sure she felt like it too!! So yes, this bothered me because we must pray, fast, and ask God to bind that devil who is coming to try to destroy this grand ole church!!

Bryann Rogers, in COGIC the National church pays for the funeral service for bishops. The family has very little control over the arrangements. If you check out other home going services for bishops you will find the order of service is the same. The hymn of comfort is usually we will understand it better bye and bye, as an example. There are some exceptions but the order of service, for the most part, is the same.

What people dont understand is that In COGIC, when you become a Bishop, you sign a contract that says upon your death, you can have a local a d jurisdictional funeral, but after that, the body belongs to the National Church. Dont take them yearly checks a d all the benefits of being aBishop, then wanna not honor what you signed. That body belongs to COGIC, cause you took all the benefits while he was living. The family doesnt get the right to say what happens at the National Funeral, they had the option to keep their asses at home. These Bishops ans their wives know this, so Blake wasnt gonna do anything different, and he shouldn't have.,

The World saw how a matter should be handled with Grace and Wisdom. Jesus came in contact with things like this, just like Peter starting mess by cutting the man ear off. The Bishop that was speaking didn’t try to argue with the man. And Bishop Blake used wisdom and humility as well. In this life, we will all be confronted with distasteful things, but the victory is how we handle it. Many of our men in the world in the streets get to see how real men of God handle conflict. And not by getting deadly weapons or with profanity. Young men need to see this, just like Jesus didn’t hide His confrontations!!

COGIC has to get it together! This was something that should have been handled before the service. God is not pleased and this dude made himself, the family, everyone that attended and the entire COGIC look very bad however, I applaud the Bishop that was disrespected and how he humbled himself, allowed God to fight the battle and handled it like a true Man of God! In addition, I applaud Bishop Blake for allowing God to stand up inside and not act crazy.

If God does not forgive you as he didn't forgive the angels in heaven that he loved at one time he will nkt forgive humans. This is his commandment.
