I love this song of praise. I grew up as a child in COGIC!! My roots come from my religious beginnings. I stil love to praise God!

You all have no idea ! This song has kept me alive ! Even on my worst days ! I know my god is real! Even in the midst of my pain and wanting to just end it all, god said “you ain’t going no where” and he sent a spirit of joy I CAN NOT EXPLAIN, and I’m still trying to figure out how the he’ll can I smile and have joy in a time when I’m so so low

I grew up COGIC here in Florida, I left the church & religion to the waste side but it’s something about them old songs that I just can’t shake. When I even think about old church songs like this one, it gives me goosebumps each and every time.

Omg, this bring back memories, good and not so good. I miss these days without the rules and regulations. I miss listening to the elders and mothers sing this without being on key and knowing without any doubt the most high God was listening. I miss the true prayer warriors! 😭 wow!!!!

This is good I love it! In a old-time yes Lord! It really mean it down in your heart and your soul in your body than you're doing! Meaning your attitude of yes Lord is what I need. That's all I want is a yes or no and then I can do the things that he would have me to do. In Jesus holy name amen amen and amen!

This is "Yes Lord" in its purest, crystal clear form. Go ahead Mr. M. Tyson! I had a "Holy Ghost fit" listening to Mr. C. Henry playing this on the Hammond (I believe it was a Hammond).

My dad is 2ND generational COGIC and has played as well as continues to play organ for so many, and I think he believes that this is Moses Tyson instead of Derrick Jackson. Even though my dad LOVES Derrick Jackson who is one of the most awesome musicians and an organist today...

However, my father could be wrong! (LOL) Whoever this is, the organ skills are indeed pleasant to the ears and powerfully demonstrative in the mastery of chords!

This is Derrick Jackson. Moses is not listed on the credits. It was Derrick or Chris Morris who contributed to keyboards and organ as well. The original best COGIC organist passed in 2010. Charles Renard "Chuck" Webb. He played for Bishop J.O. Patterson and several other memorable ministers and artists. LOL..... My brother.
