Love listening to Emad. He's the one man keeping us free from closed source companies taking over.

Agree with the sentiment, but it's not like there is only one man responsible for open source solutions

I really appreciate his intelligence and noble vision. One of the most important statements he made in this talk is "I think in the next five years there'll be no more programming as we know it. Why? Because programming is just talking to a computer; and guess what, AI can talk to a computer better than you can talk to computers".

17:43 When you're dealing with uncertainty you minimize for maximum regret. That is so true. We don't look for the possibilities when faced with uncertainty. Uncertainty triggers our scarcity mindset in most of us which is understandable.

Thank you. Great talk, sharing a different and positive perspective on a future with AI. I think it's very important to talk about the empowering potential, because the other side with -for instance Yuval Noah Harari - is spreading lots of fear with regards to AI.

Indeed. The fearmongers don't seem to realize they are co-creating the future along with everyone else

We really need Stability AI to stick with humanity and real open ai (as opposed to "OpenAI"'s closed AI. Humanity is in a struggle with insane greed and some seem to almost want to destroy everyone if they don't get it their way. Nameste.
